Bylaw Enforcement Officers. (i) The hours of work for Bylaw Enforcement Officers shall not exceed seven (7) hours between 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday, broken only by one (1) hour allowed for the lunch period. The total amount of time worked after 4:30 p.m. and on Saturday shall not exceed ten (10) hours per week.

Bylaw Enforcement Officers. The City requires Bylaw Enforcement Officers to wear uniforms and issues the following items as per the schedule below: Initial Issue/ Replacement Issue (Yearly)
Bylaw Enforcement Officers. The weekly hours of work for the Bylaw Enforcement Officers shall average forty (40) hours per week over a three (3) week period, working eight and one-half (8 1/21 consecutive hours per day with a designated day off every third week which is to be contiguous with their regular days off. They shall receive a one hour unpaid meal break at a time scheduled in advance by the Manager. The eight and one-half 1/21 hours per day shall be put in between five o'clock A.M. and twelve o'clock midnight, Monday to Saturday. Schedules shall be issued two weeks in advance. The Employer shall not be obligated to provide overtime work but that when it does schedule such work, the employees will be obligated to accommodate the schedule and be paid at their regular overtime rate. (Note: this classification is an amalgamation of the former Animal Control Officer, Water Meter Reader, Parking Meter Inspector and Parking Meter Supervisor classifications).
Bylaw Enforcement Officers. The normal work day for these employees shall consist of a scheduled period of 8 hours of work and their normal work week shall consist of 5 consecutive days followed by 2 consecutive days off.

  • Law Enforcement 24.1 Each Party may cooperate with law enforcement authorities and national security authorities to the full extent required or permitted by Applicable Law in matters related to Services provided by it under this Agreement, including, but not limited to, the production of records, the establishment of new lines or the installation of new services on an existing line in order to support law enforcement and/or national security operations, and, the installation of wiretaps, trap-and-trace facilities and equipment, and dialed number recording facilities and equipment.

  • Law Enforcement Emergencies If a Party receives a request from a law enforcement agency to implement at its switch a temporary number change, temporary disconnect, or one-way denial of outbound calls for an end user of the other Party, the receiving Party will comply so long as it is a valid emergency request. Neither Party will be held liable for any claims or damages arising from compliance with such requests, and the Party serving the end user agrees to indemnify and hold the other Party harmless against any and all such claims.

  • Law Enforcement Requests Should law enforcement or other government entities (“Requesting Party(ies)”) contact Provider with a request for Student Data held by the Provider pursuant to the Services, the Provider shall notify the LEA in advance of a compelled disclosure to the Requesting Party, unless lawfully directed by the Requesting Party not to inform the LEA of the request.

  • Compliance and Enforcement If Contractor willfully fails to comply with any of the provisions of the LBE Ordinance, the rules and regulations implementing the LBE Ordinance, or the provisions of this Agreement pertaining to LBE participation, Contractor shall be liable for liquidated damages in an amount equal to Contractor’s net profit on this Agreement, or 10% of the total amount of this Agreement, or $1,000, whichever is greatest. The Director of the City’s Human Rights Commission or any other public official authorized to enforce the LBE Ordinance (separately and collectively, the “Director of HRC”) may also impose other sanctions against Contractor authorized in the LBE Ordinance, including declaring the Contractor to be irresponsible and ineligible to contract with the City for a period of up to five years or revocation of the Contractor’s LBE certification. The Director of HRC will determine the sanctions to be imposed, including the amount of liquidated damages, after investigation pursuant to Administrative Code §14B.17. By entering into this Agreement, Contractor acknowledges and agrees that any liquidated damages assessed by the Director of the HRC shall be payable to City upon demand. Contractor further acknowledges and agrees that any liquidated damages assessed may be withheld from any monies due to Contractor on any contract with City. Contractor agrees to maintain records necessary for monitoring its compliance with the LBE Ordinance for a period of three years following termination or expiration of this Agreement, and shall make such records available for audit and inspection by the Director of HRC or the Controller upon request.

  • Authorization; Enforcement The Company has the requisite corporate power and authority to enter into and to consummate the transactions contemplated by this Agreement and each of the other Transaction Documents and otherwise to carry out its obligations hereunder and thereunder. The execution and delivery of this Agreement and each of the other Transaction Documents by the Company and the consummation by it of the transactions contemplated hereby and thereby have been duly authorized by all necessary action on the part of the Company and no further action is required by the Company, the Board of Directors or the Company’s stockholders in connection herewith or therewith other than in connection with the Required Approvals. This Agreement and each other Transaction Document to which it is a party has been (or upon delivery will have been) duly executed by the Company and, when delivered in accordance with the terms hereof and thereof, will constitute the valid and binding obligation of the Company enforceable against the Company in accordance with its terms, except (i) as limited by general equitable principles and applicable bankruptcy, insolvency, reorganization, moratorium and other laws of general application affecting enforcement of creditors’ rights generally, (ii) as limited by laws relating to the availability of specific performance, injunctive relief or other equitable remedies and (iii) insofar as indemnification and contribution provisions may be limited by applicable law.
