Berkeley college is on the “quarter hour system”, while rockland community college is on the “semes- ter hour system.” one quarter hour of credit is earned for each 10-12 hours of scheduled class time at Berkeley. In essence, a 3-credit course completed at rcc will equate to a 4-credit course at Berkeley college. students who receive an aa or aas degree from rcc will be granted at least 60 semester (90 quarter) credits toward Berkeley’s BBa degree. general Business is a broad-based program of study especially suited for those students who want the opportunity to broaden their educa- tion within the context of their career objectives.
