Bus Maintenance. 1. Each driver shall be held responsible for the cleaning of the inside of her/his bus on a daily basis. When a bus is driven to an extracurricular activity or field trip, the driver of the extra trip is responsible for leaving the bus in clean condition.

Bus Maintenance. Any bus driver who is required to bring his bus in for maintenance shall be paid a minimum of one (1) hour’s pay. If the driver is required to wait while the maintenance work is being performed, he shall be paid for the waiting time.
Bus Maintenance. 4. All accessibility equipment and devices on buses will be maintained in operable condition and in compliance with the highest accessibility standards. All accessibility equipment and features on buses will be cleaned as required to ensure proper functioning at all times. Lifts, kneelers and ramps shall be cleaned on a daily basis. Ramps and lifts shall be vacuumed, at a minimum, every six weeks. In addition, the lifts on the Zero Series buses shall be vacuumed at least once per week during the winter months. All signage shall be cleaned at a minimum, weekly, and more often during the winter and severe weather conditions to ensure that the route, destination and bus number is clearly visible at all times during operations. Securement belts, shoulder straps and flip seats shall be cleaned on a monthly basis or more often if warranted, and shall be replaced immediately when they cannot be cleaned, are worn significantly, are torn or otherwise damaged irreplaceably.
Bus Maintenance. All positions opened with the classification of bus maintenance employees shall be posted for five (5) working days. Application for bids shall be submitted in writing during the five (5)-day posting period by the employee seeking the job. The senior employee shall be given first consideration providing he/she meets the necessary qualifications as determined by the Transportation Supervisor and the Assistant Superintendent.

Bus Maintenance. Drivers shall not be required to drive any bus that they feel is unsafe. Drivers shall notify the supervisor of the unsafe condition and take a spare bus. Should there be a dispute as to the safety of the bus, the state patrol shall be requested to inspect the bus. Drivers shall submit repair requests as needed in accordance with procedures established by the transportation supervisor and mechanics. A copy shall be kept by the driver. Drivers will be responsible for checking the fluid levels. Drivers shall not be responsible for adding any fluids to the bus except gas.

  • REPAIRS; MAINTENANCE The Owner hereby gives power to the Agent to supervise repairs, improvements, alterations, and decorations to the Property as well as purchase and pay bills for services and supplies. The Agent shall obtain prior approval of the Owner for all expenditures over $ for any single item. Prior approval for lesser amounts shall not be required for monthly or recurring operating charges or if emergency expenditures over the maximum are, in the Agent’s opinion, needed to protect the Property from damage, prevent injury to persons, avoid suspension of necessary services, avoid penalties or fines, or suspension of services to tenants required by a lease or rental agreement or by law, including, but not limited to, maintaining the Property in a condition fit for human habitation as required by applicable law.

  • System Maintenance The Trust understands that USBFS will perform periodic maintenance to the System(s), which may cause temporary service interruptions. To the extent possible, USBFS shall notify the Trust of all planned outages and will perform any necessary maintenance during non-business hours.

If Purchaser elects to use different roads than those listed in C5.31, Forest Service shall determine Pur- chaser’s commensurate share of road maintenance and revise road maintenance deposits in C5.32. If Forest Service cannot perform its full commensu- rate share of road maintenance, Forest Service shall make a cash payment to Purchaser for performance of such work. Unless agreed in writing, prehaul maintenance shall be completed on any portion of road prior to hauling on that portion. Maintenance, as used in this contract, does not include road reconstruction or repairs of an extraordi- nary nature.

  • Planned Maintenance (a) Sellers may designate up to twenty (20) Days of Planned Maintenance on Sellers’ Facilities during each Contract Year. Sellers shall be entitled to reduce (including down to zero (0)) its Gas scheduling under Clause 8 and Exhibit 3 for each Day of Planned Maintenance.
