BULK CARGOES. Documenting shortages on shipments of whole grains and edible oil in bulk has long been a concern, because some discharge ports and/or inland destinations do not have adequate or reliable facilities to properly measure the quantity of cargo discharged from the vessel or inland mode of conveyance. Additional factors (such as the fact that bulk grains will gain or lose weight depending upon relative moisture in the air, and the fact that discharge port scales are often not properly maintained and therefore are of questionable accuracy) negatively impact Client’s pursuit of such shortage claims from a position of strength. Surveyor should prepare a detailed narrative analysis in stating, in his opinion, when, where, and how shortages may have occurred. Notwithstanding the above, for free out bookings, the surveyor must distinguish between the losses caused by the stevedores at discharge and the losses prior to discharge from the vessel. The surveyor must board the vessel, view cargo in stow, note any cargo suspected to be damaged, and assess any losses in stow.

  • Bulk Migration 2.1.9.1 If Telepak Networks requests to migrate twenty-five (25) or more UNE- Port/Loop Combination (UNE-P) customers to UNE-Loop (UNE-L) in the same Central Office on the same due date, Telepak Networks must use the Bulk Migration process, which is described in the BellSouth CLEC Information Package, “UNE-Port/Loop Combination (UNE-P) to UNE-Loop (UNE-L) Bulk Migration.” This CLEC Information package, incorporated herein by reference as it may be amended from time to time, is located at xxx.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.xxxxxxxxx.xxx/xxxxxx/xxxx/xxxx.xxxx. The rates for the Bulk Migration process shall be the nonrecurring rates associated with the Loop type being requested on the Bulk Migration, as set forth in Exhibit A of this Attachment. Additionally, OSS charges will also apply per LSR generated per customer account as provided for in the Bulk Migration Request. The migration of loops from Integrated Digital Loop Carrier (IDLC) will be done pursuant to Section 2.6 of this Attachment.

  • Shipping Axon may make partial shipments and ship Axon Devices from multiple locations. All shipments are FOB shipping point via common carrier. Title and risk of loss pass to Agency upon Axon’s delivery to the common carrier. Agency is responsible for any shipping charges in the Quote.

  • Fuel 28.1 The Vehicle must be returned with the amount of fuel equal to that at the time of the commencement of the rental. If the Vehicle is returned with less fuel, the difference will be charged to You at a rate of $5.00 including GST per litre (which includes a service component).

  • Packing 9.1 The supplier shall provide such packing of the goods as is required to prevent their damage or deterioration during transit to their final destination, as indicated in the contract. The packing shall be sufficient to withstand, without limitation, rough handling during transit and exposure to extreme temperatures, salt and precipitation during transit, and open storage. Packing, case size and weights shall take into consideration, where appropriate, the remoteness of the goods’ final destination and the absence of heavy handling facilities at all points in transit.

  • Packaging and Shipment All articles are to be packed in accordance with sound commercial practices to obtain the lowest transportation rates unless otherwise specified in the NETAPP purchase order and comply with requirements of common carriers. Shipments will be valued so as to obtain the lowest transportation rate and must be made by NETAPP's choice of common carrier if specified in the purchase order. Transportation insurance for loss or damage will not be purchased by NETAPP unless specifically directed. Excess transportation costs resulting from failure to comply with the provisions of this paragraph will be debited to Seller's account. Unless otherwise specified in the NETAPP purchase order, packaging must conform to NETAPP's specifications and should be constructed for handling with a mechanical device. A complete packing list specifying NETAPPs applicable purchase order number, quantity of Goods shipped, and part number shall be enclosed with all shipments hereunder. Seller shall mark each container with necessary lifting, loading and shipping information, including the NETAPP purchase order number, date of shipment, and name and address of consignor and consignee. Seller shall bear the expense of any premium transportation charges unless otherwise agreed. Prepaid transportation charges appearing on Xxxxxx's invoice must be supported by a paid freight bill and bill of lading.

  • Packaging and Shipping 3.1 Seller shall properly xxxx, xxxx, ship and route the Products in accordance with the requirements of Timken and the carriers and in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations, or if there are no stated requirements, in accordance with best commercial practices designed to prevent loss or damage due to weather, transportation and other causes.

  • Consumables During the design phase, Purchaser may participate in the selection of suppliers of consumables of the Supplier. In such case, the choice regarding the final selection of the said suppliers shall be mutually agreed between the Parties. Two suppliers shall be identified and selected for each type of consumables.
