BUILT UP. AREA shall mean the area of the unit to be allotted and shall include, inter alia the area of covered balcony attached thereto and also thickness of the outer walls, internal walls columns pillars therein Provided That if any wall column or pillar being common between two units then half of the area under such wall, column or pillar shall be included in each such unit to be certified by the Architects.
BUILT UP. AREA shall mean the entire built-up area as sanctioned by the KMC as per approval of its Other Authorities , from time to time and shall include the plinth area of the units, including the plinth area of the bathrooms, balconies and terraces, if any, appurtenant thereto and also the thickness of the wall (external or internal) and pillars and the areas of the Common Portions.
BUILT UP. The apartments shall be constructed from concrete structures and roof top of corrugated or ega sheets and trusses of manufactured steel sections. The exterior wall cladding consisting of Hollow blocks (HCB) fixed to the concrete structures and beams. Electricity and plumbing are installed in the wall cavity created by the hollow blocks (HCB) and internal wall cladding. Magnesium Oxide board, or gypsum board or HCB fixed to the structure and hollow block (HCB) walls can be used for internal wall cladding.

BUILT UP. AREA in relation to a flat shall mean the plinth area of that flat (including the area of balconies, and servants quarter, if any, appurtenant thereto) and also the thickness of the walls (external and internal), the columns and pillars therein.
