Should school property be damaged or abused beyond normal wear, such damage will be paid for by the organization involved, and shall be sufficient cause for cancellation of future use. All lights must be turned off when leaving and all doors locked and secured. No decorations, scenery sets, or lighting are to be nailed to floors, walls, or ceiling. No preparations of any kind shall be used on school floors by groups using the buildings. Shoes with cleats or plates and rubber soles or heels which mar or mark the floor will not be permitted in school buildings. School furniture or equipment shall not be moved or displaced. No pesticides, herbicides or rodenticides of any type should be applied to, or used on LEA premises. Playfields may not be used for practice or games after heavy rains. Prohibited on school property: animals (with the exception of active service dogs), firearms, pellet guns, BB guns, sling shots, archery, discus, javelin, shot put, roller hockey, riding of tricycles, scooters, go-carts, motor scooters, bicycles and skateboards (except for riding to and from school), unauthorized automobiles, running of model and miniature cars or model planes or unmanned aerial systems (drones) and rockets, skating, horseback riding, and hitting of golf balls.

BUILDINGS & GROUNDS. A. Jail Differential: Employees of the Buildings and Grounds Department who are routinely assigned to the correctional facilities or Juvenile Detention Center will receive an additional $.50 per hour for 2007 to 2009 and $.75 per hour in 2010, for actual time worked, subject to the conditions below. In order to be eligible for the hourly stipend, employees must be assigned to the correctional facilities or Juvenile Detention Center for a minimum of 100 hours within a calendar year. The adjustment shall be retroactive to and paid for actual time worked. The additional compensation shall not apply to compensation for sick leave, vacation, holidays or any time other than time actually worked in such facilities. The additional compensation shall only apply to employees who work in those areas of the correctional facilities or Juvenile Detention Center where there is contact with inmates or detainees. The assignment of employees to duties in the correctional facilities or Juvenile Detention Center is within management's sole discretion. Such assignment decisions shall not be subject to the grievance procedure.

  • Common Areas Tenant shall have the non-exclusive right to use in common with other tenants in the Project, and subject to the Rules and Regulations referred to in Article 5 of this Lease, those portions of the Project which are provided, from time to time, for use in common by Landlord, Tenant and any other tenants of the Project (such areas, together with such other portions of the Project designated by Landlord, in its discretion, including certain areas designated for the exclusive use of certain tenants, or to be shared by Landlord and certain tenants, are collectively referred to herein as the “Common Areas”). The Common Areas shall consist of the “Project Common Areas” and the “Building Common Areas.” The term “Project Common Areas,” as used in this Lease, shall mean the portion of the Project designated as such by Landlord or areas within the Project that the occupants of the Building are permitted to utilize pursuant to a recorded declaration and which areas shall be maintained in accordance with the declaration.   • DAMAGE TO COUNTY FACILITIES, BUILDINGS OR GROUNDS 8.16.1 The Contractor shall repair, or cause to be repaired, at its own cost, any and all damage to County facilities, buildings, or grounds caused by the Contractor or employees or agents of the Contractor. Such repairs shall be made immediately after the Contractor has become aware of such damage, but in no event later than thirty (30) days after the occurrence.

It shall be the responsibility of CONTRACTOR to have all underground utilities located before any work begins (Sunshine State One Call 0-000-000-0000). The repairs of any damaged underground utilities as a result of the work being performed by CONTRACTOR shall be the responsibility of CONTRACTOR. The proper utility company shall be contacted immediately to expedite the repairs, if damage has occurred. CONTRACTOR will notify the COUNTY and provide a written explanation of the incident within two (2) days of the damage to any underground utilities.
