Budget Amendment i. Submit for prior approval a budget amendment request to the XXXX.Xxxxxxx@xxxx.xx.xxx when:
Budget Amendment. If after adoption of the Final Budget it appears to the Coordinating District that Costs for the year will exceed amounts as set forth in the Final Budget such that the Financing Districts will have to appropriate additional funds for the payment of the Costs for the year, the Coordinating District shall notify the Financing Districts as soon as reasonably practicable, and shall prepare and submit a proposed budget amendment to the Final Budget (each a “Preliminary Budget Amendment”) to the Financing Districts for review and comment. Within fifteen (15) days of submission of a Preliminary Budget Amendment to the Financing Districts, each Financing Districts shall either: (a) approve the Preliminary Budget Amendment (in which case the Preliminary Budget Amendment shall become the “Final Budget Amendment”, or (b) propose in writing to the Coordinating District additions to and/or deletions from the Preliminary Budget Amendment. If [any Financing District does not provide a proposal for additions to and/or deletions from the Preliminary Budget Amendment in writing within fifteen (15) days as required herein, such Financing District shall be deemed to have approved the Preliminary Budget Amendment as presented. If any Financing District does timely provide additions to and/or deletions from the Preliminary Budget Amendment, the Districts shall discuss and attempt in good faith to reach an agreement with respect to the Preliminary Budget Amendment within thirty (30) days of the submission of the Preliminary Budget Amendment to the Financing Districts from the Coordinating District. In the event that the Coordinating District and the Financing Districts are unable to agree with regard to any proposed additions and/or deletions to the Preliminary Budget Amendment within the time provided herein, then the Parties shall submit the Preliminary Budget Amendment to a mutually selected mediator in an attempt to reach agreement with respect to a Final Budget Amendment. In the event the Districts cannot agree on a Final Budget Amendment within the time set forth above, the Preliminary Budget Amendment, with any revisions agreed to by the Districts to date, shall be incorporated into and deemed to be the Final Budget Amendment; provided, however, that the Final Budget Amendment shall not include expenditures totaling the greater of: (1) 120% higher than the expenditures set forth and appropriated in Final Budget being amended by the Final Budget Amendment, or (2) 120% of ...
Budget Amendment. A budget amendment is required when Grantee desires to reallocate to or from any line item in the approved Project budget more than ten percent (10%) of the line item amount or $10,000, whichever is greater. Reallocation of less than ten percent (10%) or $10,000 to or from a line item requires written notification from the Grantee to Grantor. Additionally, a budget amendment is required when adding Grant Funds to a new budget line item.

Budget Amendment. Pursuant to the Department’s budget and fiscal policies, the Board may amend or supplement the budget at any time after it is adopted by majority vote of the members. The Administrative Officer may make administrative adjustments to the budget as long as those changes will not have a significant policy impact nor affect budgeted year-end fund balances.

Budget Amendment. The Grantee may from time to time amend line items of the Agreement Budget as identified in ATTACHMENT 2, provided the amended amount facilitates repairing additional income qualified households, and the total contract amount does not change. The Grantee shall promptly notify the City of such amendments in writing as they occur. Payment of invoices shall not be made unless the City has received such notification and approval for payment has been granted by the City as set forth in Section 6.4 of this Agreement. Budget amendments not meeting the above guidelines but not changing the total contract amount may be made only upon prior written approval of the Housing Programs Coordinator. Budget Amendment. Repair Fire Department Apparatus T281 As the Fire Department was putting Tower Ladder Truck 281 back into service after the structure fire that occurred on January 27, 2019 at 1936 County Road 10, the motor blew black smoke and broke down. T281 was towed to a repair shop which determined that the motor needs to be repaired or replaced. The quotes for repair totals $43,703.97 which is more than the 2019 budget within the Fire Department for preventative maintenance and repairs for fire apparatus and vehicles. As this is a significant repair, it is appropriate to fund the repair out of the Capital Fund. As such, City Staff is recommending a capital budget amendment transferring $44,000 from the Capital Reserve to the Capital Fund for this repair.
Budget Amendment. The annual budget adopted by the City Council shall be considered a controlled spending plan for the ensuing year, which authorizes the City Manager to make expenditure commitments in accordance with the policies of the City Council, City Charter and state law. At the time of its adoption by the City Council, the annual budget shall be based on the best available information concerning the expenditure requirements of the City and the availability of funds. If changes in the spending plans of the City increase the total expenditures in any fund over the expenditures previously authorized by the City Council for that fund, the City Manager shall submit to the City Council a budget amendment describing the increase in expenditures in detail and setting forth the facts and reasons making the increase necessary. The budget amendment, if adopted by the City Council, shall become part of the official budget for the City. Therefore, changes may be are necessary throughout the year and this policy outlines the authorizations and procedures for such changes. Any budget amendment that does not have an offsetting revenue or is a pass-through expense reimbursement in accordance with the provisions of Paragraph C and D below shall be approved by City Council.
