Bribery. Grantee certifies that it has not been convicted of bribery or attempting to bribe an officer or employee of the State of Illinois, nor made an admission of guilt of such conduct which is a matter of record (30 ILCS 500/50-5).

Bribery. Bribery is the act of offering, giving (active bribery), receiving, soliciting or accepting (passive bribery) any item of value to influence the actions of an employee in charge of a public or legal duty. Bribery is punishable under the Danish Criminal Code. The Danish Institute for Human Rights will not give or accept bribery in any form.
Bribery. The SUBCONSULTANT certifies that it is not barred from being awarded a contract under 30 ILCS 500/50-5. Section 50-5 prohibits a SUBCONSULTANT from entering into a contract with the DEPARTMENT if the SUBCONSULTANT has been convicted of bribery or attempting to bribe an officer or employee of the state of Illinois, or if the SUBCONSULTANT has made an admission of guilt of such conduct which is a matter of record. The SUBCONSULTANT further acknowledges that the chief procurement officer may declare the CONTRACT void if this certification is false.
