Boarding Allowance. 6.8.1 A relieving teacher when required to live away from the normal place of residence to undertake the relieving shall be paid a boarding allowance or travelling expenses as specified in Appendix 1.

Boarding Allowance. A relieving employee when required to live away from their normal place of residence, shall be paid a boarding allowance of $268 per annum or a daily relieving allowance of $42.00 or $31.50 when staying privately.
Boarding Allowance. For students receiving the Ministry of Education boarding allowance, these allowances are paid by the ministry directly to the school. This amount will be applied to your daughter’s boarding fees on receipt of the ministry payments.
Boarding Allowance. If your child is eligible for a Ministry of Education boarding allowance, this will be paid directly to the school. Please provide a copy of the letter confirming your application has been successful. The amount of the boarding allowance will be applied to your daughter’s boarding fees on receipt of the Ministry payments, and you will be invoiced for the remaining amount according to the payment option you have chosen above.
