BLOOD DONORS LEAVE. An Employer will release full-time Employees upon request on a maximum of two occasions per year to donate blood in paid time at a nominated time where a mobile collection unit or donor collection centre is located within five kilometres of the aged care facility. Employees will give at least seven days’ notice to the Employer and such release will take into account the staffing and workload needs of the facility.

BLOOD DONORS LEAVE. 40.1. A weekly employee who is absent during ordinary working hours for the purpose of donating blood shall not suffer any deduction of pay for a period of two (2) hours or longer if necessary, on each occasion and subject to a maximum of four (4) separate absences for the purpose of donating blood each calendar year. Provided further that such employee shall arrange for his or her absence to be on a day suitable to the employer and be as close as possible to the beginning or ending of his or her ordinary working hours.
BLOOD DONORS LEAVE. The Parties agree to the following in relation to the provision of Blood Donor’s Leave, subject to advice regarding medical restrictions on driving following donation of blood. In the event that there are restrictions placed on an employee that would impact an employee’s work for the following day (and any subsequent day) this clause shall not apply to the employees.
BLOOD DONORS LEAVE. A weekly paid employee who attends a recognised clinic for the purpose of donating blood during working hours, shall, (subject to normal xxxxxxx required) be allowed the necessary leave without loss of pay providing that the employee shall not be entitled to payment with respect to time lost in excess of two hours on each occasion. An employee shall notify the Employer as soon as possible of the time and date upon which they intend to be absent for the purpose of donating blood.
