Blood Donors. The Employer agrees to allow the necessary time off with no loss of pay to employees who are called upon to donate blood to the Canadian Blood Services.

Blood Donors. A weekly employee who attends a recognised clinic for the purpose of donating blood during working hours shall (subject to normal xxxxxxx requirements) be allowed the necessary leave of absence without loss of pay on not more than four occasions in each twelve months. Provided an employee shall not be entitled to payment with respect to time lost in excess of two hours on each occasion. An employee shall notify their employer as soon as possible of the time and date upon which they are intending to be absent for the purpose of donating blood.
Blood Donors. (a) A full-time or part-time Employee who is absent during ordinary working hours for the purpose of donating blood shall not suffer any deduction of pay for the period involved on each occasion and subject to a maximum of four separate absences of a maximum 1.5 hour per absence for the purpose of donating blood each calendar year. PROVIDED that such Employee shall arrange for his/her absence to be at the beginning or the ending of their rostered working hours.

Blood Donors. The Authority may excuse with pay upon request any employee for the purpose of donating blood, provided Authority operations will not be interfered with. Excused time available to an employee under this Section shall not exceed the number of hours in a full shift per fiscal year.
Blood Donors. Where blood donation facilities are made available at a Company establishment, or at some other nearby place, an employee who donates blood at such facility during their ordinary working hours shall be entitled to one hours’ paid leave on each occasion for that purpose; provided that, before making payment for such leave, the Company may require satisfactory proof of the employees blood donation. Production of the relevant Blood Bank card or certificate, properly completed shall constitute such satisfactory proof. Also provided that where the blood donation is to be made at any other place than a Company establishment the employee gives the Company reasonable notice of their intention to donate blood and the time when absence from work will be required.
Blood Donors. 19.01 The Company agrees that any working time during a regular work day given up by the employee for emergency blood donation purposes shall be paid at the employee’s current regular hourly wage rate.
