Birth or Adoption. Up to five (5) days of sick leave shall be granted for birth or adoption of a child. In the case of adoption, and at the sole discretion of the Appointing Authority, additional sick leave may be granted to acquire the child, but in no case may the total leave granted exceed seven (7) days.
