Best Management Practice. Best Management Practice means the collection of written activities, practices, policies and procedures prepared and proposed by a responsible party, and then approved by the Director, to prevent or reduce, to the maximum extent that is technologically and economically feasible, the discharge of pollutants to the storm drain system which might be generated from any site in the City.
Best Management Practice. (a) The General Contractor shall perform its duties and obligations in accordance with Best Management Practices and shall comply with, at its own cost, the provisions of the Best Management Practices with regards to environmental compliance and sustainability.
Best Management Practice. BMPs related to stormwater discharge are sometimes also referred to as stormwater control measures (SCM). For this contract, stream restoration is considered a key BMP that must be incorporated into the response.

  • Employment Practices Contractor agrees to abide by the following employment laws: (i)Title VI and VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (42 U.S.C. 2000e) which prohibits discrimination against any employee or applicant for employment or any applicant or recipient of services, on the basis of race, religion, color, or national origin; (ii) Executive Order No. 11246, as amended, which prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex; (iii) 45 CFR 90 which prohibits discrimination on the basis of age; (iv) Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, or the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 which prohibits discrimination on the basis of disabilities; and (v) Utah's Executive Order, dated December 13, 2006, which prohibits unlawful harassment in the work place. Contractor further agrees to abide by any other laws, regulations, or orders that prohibit the discrimination of any kind of any of Contractor’s employees.

  • FAIR PRACTICES 1. As sole bargaining agent the Association shall continue its policy of accepting into membership all eligible persons in the unit without regard to age, race, color, creed and religious creed, national origin, sex, marital status, sexual orientation, veteran’s status, handicap, genetic information, ancestry, or membership or non-membership in any political or ideological organization.
