Common use of BERKELEY LIVING WAGE ORDINANCE Clause in Contracts

BERKELEY LIVING WAGE ORDINANCE. a. Contractor hereby agrees to comply with the provisions of the Berkeley Living Wage Ordinance, B.M.C. Chapter 13.27. If Contractor is currently subject to the Berkeley Living Wage Ordinance, as indicated by the Living Wage Certification form, attached hereto, Contractor will be required to provide all eligible employees with City mandated minimum compensation during the term of this Contract, as defined in B.M.C. Chapter 13.27, as well as comply with the terms enumerated herein. Contractor expressly acknowledges that, even if Contractor is not currently subject to the Living Wage Ordinance, cumulative contracts with City may subject Contractor to the requirements under B.M.C. Chapter 13.27 in subsequent contracts.
