Common use of BEREAVEMENT PAY Clause in Contracts

BEREAVEMENT PAY. If a death occurs in the immediate family of an employee, the Company will grant paid leaves of absence as follows: 3 days if employee attends funeral of parents, parents-in-law, wife, husband and children.

BEREAVEMENT PAY. If a death occurs in the immediate family of an employeeemployee who is both scheduled and available for work, the Company will grant five (5) days paid leaves leave of absence. Immediate family will include spouse, same sex partner, children, the employee’s parents, the employee’s brothers and/or sisters.
