Benefits for Part-Time Teachers. Part-time certified employees hired by the School Corporation on, or after, October 1, 2015 will be eligible to obtain coverage under the Corporation’s group life, health, dental/vision, and long- term disability plans. The Board will contribute a percentage of the premium for these insurance benefits for part-time teachers, which shall be computed by dividing the part-time teacher’s compensation by the number of contract hours worked by the part-time teacher to determine part- time teacher’s prorated contribution percentage.
Benefits for Part-Time Teachers. A part-time teacher, teaching at least half-time, shall be eligible to participate in the benefit plan provided in L7.01, the cost of which shall be pro-rated in the same ratio as the part-time employment bears to full-time employment.

Benefits for Part-Time Teachers. Part-time teachers who work more than 20 hour per week (.55 FTE), but do not work full-time as defined by the Affordable Care Act may purchase health, life and dental insurance with the district contribution to the premium made on a pro-rated basis. Employees who are enrolled in one or more of the insurance programs and have their time reduced to less than .5 FTE by the District will be eligible for insurance premium contribution form the District on a pro-rated basis as a .5 employee. Part- time employee participation in the insurance program shall be an option of the employee.   • Benefits for Part-Time Employees (a) A part-time employee including a casual employee, and a temporary employee shall receive in lieu of all fringe benefits (being those benefits to an employee, paid in whole or part by the Hospital, as part of direct compensation or otherwise, including holiday pay, save and except salary, vacation pay, standby pay, call back pay, reporting pay, responsibility allowance, jury and witness duty, bereavement pay, and maternity supplemental unemployment benefits) an amount equal to 14% of his/her regular straight time hourly rate for all straight time hours paid.

  • Retiree Benefits – Process for Payment Any bargaining unit nurse who retires and wishes to participate in the benefit plans as outlined in article 17.01(h) will provide advance payment of the benefits either through post-dated cheques provided on a yearly basis or through a preauthorized withdrawal process. It is understood that any transaction would be dated the first of each and every month.   • Requiring Health Benefits for Covered Employees Contractor agrees to comply fully with and be bound by all of the provisions of the Health Care Accountability Ordinance (HCAO), as set forth in San Francisco Administrative Code Chapter 12Q, including the remedies provided, and implementing regulations, as the same may be amended from time to time.   • Leave of Absence for Employees Who Serve as Local Coordinators for the Ontario Nurses' Association An employee who serves as Local Coordinator for the Ontario Nurses' Association shall be granted leave of absence without pay up to a total of thirty-five (35) days annually. Leave of absence for Local Coordinators for the Ontario Nurses' Association will be separate from the Union leave provided in (a) above.

  • Refresh Provision for Permanent Employees Permanent Employees returning from LTD or workplace insurance leave to resume their regular working hours must complete eleven (11) consecutive working days at their regular working hours to receive a new allocation of sick/short-term disability leave. If the Employee has a recurrence of the same illness or injury, s/he is required to apply to reopen the previous LTD or WSIB claim, as applicable. The Local union and Local school board agree to continue to cooperate in the implementation and administration of early intervention and safe return to work processes as a component of the Short-Term Leave and Long-Term Disability Plans. In the event the Employee exhausts his/her sick/short-term disability leave allocation from the previous year and continues to work part-time, their salary will be reduced accordingly and a pro-rated sick/short-term allocation for the employee’s working portion of the current year will be provided. The new pro-rated sick/short-term leave allocation may not be used to top-up from part-time to full-time hours. Any changes to hours of work during a fiscal year shall result in an adjustment to the allocation.

  • Payroll Errors a. This provision applies when the Director of Personnel Services determines that an error has been made in relation to the base salary, overtime cash payment, or paid leave accruals, balances, or usage. In such cases the County shall, for purposes of future compensation, adjust such compensation to the correct amount. The Director also shall give written notice to the employee.
