Common use of Benefit Status Clause in Contracts

Benefit Status. A. The salary and benefits contained within this Memorandum of Understanding are granted only to employees who are in a current pay status. The City shall incur no cost, nor shall benefits accrue for retirees, survivors, or employees in a non-pay status, unless the employee is granted medical leave of absence or military leave of absence.
