Common use of Benefit Status Clause in Contracts

Benefit Status. During the period during which an employee remains on a preferential re-employment list, the employee shall not receive paid time off or termination payments (i.e. annual sick leave, sick leave, pension, longevity). All benefits shall cease during the layoff period.
