BEHAVIOR GUIDELINES. 1. Students are expected to follow the standards of behavior set by the school while in class, on the playground, and during all school related activities. In behavior and attitude, students are expected to respect God, self, others, (adults and children); to respect school property and the property of others; and to use appropriate language.
BEHAVIOR GUIDELINES. As a participant, I agree to be courteous and respectful to my teachers, chaperones, fellow students, other campers, and Island Staff, to be punctual, to attend and fully participate in all of the scheduled classes and events, and to follow the 10:00 p.m. campsite curfew and bedtime each evening. I understand that no photos are to be taken during Main Lessons, Labs and Tide Pools, and during the Poetry evening without permission of the trip leader. I understand firearms are not allowed on this trip. I further understand that there is a zero-tolerance policy in regards to drugs, alcohol and the use of tobacco and harassment of fellow students in any form. If I do not follow these behavior guidelines, I understand that the faculty as a whole shall meet at the earliest possible time to decide consequences related to my breach of conduct, or in the judgment of the faculty the student cannot participate adequately, or for reasons in the best interest of self/others. I understand that at the discretion of the faculty, I may then be sent home at my own and/or my parent’s expense. I further understand that zero tolerance means that if I am found to possess or use illegal drugs, or alcohol, or if I am seen smoking anything by any of the supervising adults, that I will be sent home immediately at my own and/or my parent’s expense. I understand that further consequences may occur at home at the discretion of my school.
