Before a continuing appointment is granted, an Assistant. Teaching Professor must be reviewed by the departmental committee that considers reappointments and be recommended by the Xxxx as having met the standard for evaluation set out in section 22.7. The Assistant Teaching Professor must include in their teaching dossier evidence of two recent peer reviews of teaching. The provisions of section 41 apply.

  • Continuing Appointment A continuing appointment shall continue until retirement or until otherwise terminated pursuant to this Agreement.

  • Termination of Probationary Appointment (a) The Employer may terminate a probationary appointment at any time.

  • Continuing Appointments A Continuing appointment signifies the right of a Member to continuous employment that may be terminated only through the mechanisms provided in Article 8.

A faculty appointment means that the appointment shall be continued unless there are exceptional circumstances as specified in 8.4.1 or 6.4.

  • Hiring and Appointments Section 4.1 as specifically established in Subsections 4.2(A), (E) and (F) applies to part-time hourly appointees.

  • Limited Term Appointments (A) A limited term appointment is for a stated period of time, and carries no implication of renewal or continuation beyond the stated term of the limited term appointment. Notwithstanding, a member hired pursuant to [(B) (e)] below shall be given a probationary appointment, provided the member completes the required qualifications for the position, as set out in the letter of appointment, within the time period specified in his/her letter of appointment.
