Battery Energy Storage System Sample Clauses

Battery Energy Storage System. The operating parameters of the XXXX for facilities with paired storage shall be as follows: For facilities with variable energy and paired storage: The XXXX shall directly charge storage from the variable resource when the Company Active Power Dispatch is for less than the available resource energy. No more than [___]% of the XXXX energy capacity can be charged from the grid prior to the fifth (5th) anniversary of the Commercial Operations Date. Thereafter, 100% of the XXXX energy capacity can be charged from the grid. [DRAFTING NOTE: 5-YEAR LIMITATION ON GRID CHARGING WILL BE DELETED IF ITC RECAPTURE IS NOT APPLICABLE TO THE XXXX.] The XXXX will not be required to discharge more energy than available relative to the available state of charge. For storage used primarily for energy shifting, the XXXX shall be designed for an average annual use of 365 cycle(s) (a cycle is a discharge equal to the portion of the XXXX Contract Capacity allocated for energy shifting, and sufficient charging to return the XXXX to 100% State of Charge) For contingency storage, the XXXX storage technology shall be procured based on required charging/discharging duty for the provision of disturbance frequency response. This response will require fast response outside of a specified frequency deadband (setable between 0.1 and 0.5 Hz), in accordance with specified droop and time parameters. (Historical frequency data for 2 second data resolution samples will be provided to bidders.) (Assumptions and associated restrictions on charging/discharging duty to be supplied by bidders).

Battery Energy Storage System. The operating parameters of the XXXX for facilities with paired storage shall be as follows:
Battery Energy Storage System. The Project includes a battery energy storage system (XXXX). The XXXX allows for the storing excess solar-generated electricity and supplying it back to the grid when needed. The location of Project facilities including, but not limited to, the solar panels, electrical collection and distribution system, electrical transformers, electrical generation tie lines, roadways, and other related infrastructure, is generally described in the ASC, as modified within the Agreement. The final location of the solar panels and other project facilities within the Project Footprint may vary from the locations shown on the conceptual drawings provided in the ASC but shall be consistent with the conditions of this Agreement and in accordance with the final construction plans approved by EFSEC pursuant to Article IV.S.
Battery Energy Storage System. The operating parameters of the Facility shall be as follows:
Battery Energy Storage System. The Facility may include an optional battery energy storage system (XXXX). The XXXX allows for the storing excess solar-generated electricity and supplying it back to the grid or to local loads when needed. The location of Project facilities including, but not limited to, the solar panels, electrical collection and distribution system, electrical transformers, electrical generation tie lines, roadways, and other related Project facilities, is generally described in the Revised Application, as modified within the Agreement. The final location of the solar panels and other project facilities within the Facility Area may vary from the locations shown on the conceptual drawings provided in the Revised Application, but shall be consistent with the conditions of this Agreement and in accordance with the final construction plans approved by EFSEC pursuant to Article IV S.
Battery Energy Storage System. Moreover, despite this solution (software-side) is highly compatible with several systems, the HW used should comply with the following requirements. Monitoring equipment:
Battery Energy Storage System. The operating parameters of the XXXX for facilities with paired storage shall be as follows: For facilities with variable energy and paired storage: The XXXX shall directly charge storage from the variable resource when the Company Active Power Dispatch is for less than the available resource energy. [Note - modify for grid charging XXXX] The XXXX shall/shall not be charged from the Company System during the Term. [If grid charging is limited, describe here.] The XXXX will not be required to discharge more energy than available relative to the available state of charge. The XXXX shall be designed for an average annual use of [xxxx] cycle(s) per day (a cycle is a discharge equal to the XXXX Contract Capacity, and sufficient charging to return the XXXX to 100% State of Charge).

  • Petroleum Storage Systems A. At Company’s expense, Company will at all times comply with all federal, state, and local requirements, including but not limited to, the regulations of the FDEP as stated in Chapters 62-761 and 62-762, FAC, the requirements of the Federal Oil Pollution Prevention regulation found in Title 40 of the Code of Federal Regulations Part 112 (40 CFR part 112), as well as the requirements of the Environmental Protection Commission of Hillsborough County (EPC), as may be amended or replaced, pertaining to petroleum storage tank and piping system construction, operation, inspection, and compliance monitoring programs; release detection methods and procedures; maintenance; and preventative maintenance programs. Company will be responsible for all spillage, overflow, or escape of gases, petroleum or petroleum products, and for all fines and penalties in connection therewith. All petroleum storage systems will be registered by Company, and Company will display the registration placard as required by law.

  • Electric Storage Resources Developer interconnecting an electric storage resource shall establish an operating range in Appendix C of its LGIA that specifies a minimum state of charge and a maximum state of charge between which the electric storage resource will be required to provide primary frequency response consistent with the conditions set forth in Articles 9.5.5, 9.5.5.1, 9.5.5.2, and 9.5.5.3 of this Agreement. Appendix C shall specify whether the operating range is static or dynamic, and shall consider (1) the expected magnitude of frequency deviations in the interconnection; (2) the expected duration that system frequency will remain outside of the deadband parameter in the interconnection; (3) the expected incidence of frequency deviations outside of the deadband parameter in the interconnection; (4) the physical capabilities of the electric storage resource; (5) operational limitations of the electric storage resources due to manufacturer specification; and (6) any other relevant factors agreed to by the NYISO, Connecting Transmission Owner, and Developer. If the operating range is dynamic, then Appendix C must establish how frequently the operating range will be reevaluated and the factors that may be considered during its reevaluation. Developer’s electric storage resource is required to provide timely and sustained primary frequency response consistent with Article 9.5.5.2 of this Agreement when it is online and dispatched to inject electricity to the New York State Transmission System and/or receive electricity from the New York State Transmission System. This excludes circumstances when the electric storage resource is not dispatched to inject electricity to the New York State Transmission System and/or dispatched to receive electricity from the New York State Transmission System. If Developer’s electric storage resource is charging at the time of a frequency deviation outside of its deadband parameter, it is to increase (for over-frequency deviations) or decrease (for under-frequency deviations) the rate at which it is charging in accordance with its droop parameter. Developer’s electric storage resource is not required to change from charging to discharging, or vice versa, unless the response necessitated by the droop and deadband settings requires it to do so and it is technically capable of making such a transition.
