Basic Leave Allowance. Employees working 12 month assignments will receive a leave allowance of fifteen (15) days and employees scheduled less than 12 months will receive ten (10) days. The leave allowance of paid days shall be granted for each full school year provided an employee is scheduled at least four (4) hours per day and has served for a minimum of twenty (20) duty days each year. Leave not used during any school year shall accumulate without limit. An employee employed at least four (4) hours per day but less than eight (8) hours per day shall accrue and use basic accumulated leave on a pro-rata basis.

Basic Leave Allowance. An employee receives a basic leave allowance of one working day (8 hours for 1.0 FTE) per month for absence without deduction from pay. An employee working less than 1.0 FTE receives leave on a prorated basis. The basic leave allowance may be used for sick leave, family illness leave, and personal leave under the terms and conditions set forth in this Section. The leave is requested using the district’s electronic leave system. This leave is deducted from the employee’s basic accumulated leave allowance. In order to receive this allowance, the employee must provide to the Employer proof that the employee has applied for and is eligible to receive employment insurance benefits pursuant to the Employment Insurance Act. An employee disentitled or disqualified from receiving employment insurance benefits is not eligible for maternity leave allowance.

  • Shoe Allowance The Employer will provide reimbursement to full time employees who have completed probation and who are employed in the kitchen and stewarding departments, once per year in the amount of $60.00 and once every two years in the amount of $60.00 for maintenance and banquet housepersons. The amount shall increase to $75, effective January 1, 2007. Employees will receive said amount as long as the shoes are approved by the employer and as long as the shoes are worn on the job. Payment will be made on or about July 1 upon presentation of proof of purchase.

  • Vehicle Allowance (a) Vehicle allowance for all kilometres travelled on the Employer’s business shall be paid to employees who are required to use their own vehicles in the performance of their duties.

  • Aid Allowance An employee who has been appointed by the Employer and trained to render first aid and who is the current holder of appropriate first aid qualifications such as a certificate from the St. Xxxx's Ambulance or similar body shall be paid weekly an allowance as detailed in Appendix A.
