Basic First Aid Sample Clauses

Basic First Aid. All contract instructors must possess a current certification in Basic First Aid from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, National Safety Council, American Safety and Health Institute, or other locally available means. Training must be conducted by a competent facilitator. Stand-alone online or Computer Based Training (CBT) does not satisfy this requirement. The contractor shall ensure that a copy of the certification is retained in the ITJ. The contractor is responsible for maintaining the currency of this qualification, as well as the subsequent update of the ITJ. All First Aid certifications will be provided by the contractor. Additional information can be found in CENSECFORINST 5100.1 (High Risk Training Safety) (Attachment Q) and NETCINST 1500.13A.

Basic First Aid. (1) In instances where the Employer requires an Employee to renew a Basic First Aid qualification the Employer shall arrange and cover the cost of such training, on written approval from a senior manager.
Basic First Aid. To the extent possible, the unit member shall provide basic first aid to students to prevent office congregation and possible cross exposure. The unit member shall follow established guidelines to determine if the student requires office visit/nurse intervention. Each elementary classroom has a basic first aid kit. Secondary teachers may contact the office for any needed first aid guidance, support, or supplies.

  • First Aid The employer will appoint an employee who holds a current First Aid certificate and who is covered by this agreement as first aid attendant. Any first aid chest, box or cupboard provided by the employer will be in control of that employee and his/her name will be made known throughout the establishment in which he/she is employed and will be inscribed on the first aid chest, box or cupboard.

  • First Aid Kits The Employer shall provide an area, equipped with a first-aid kit, for the use of Employees taken ill during working hours.

  • First Aid Allowance An employee who has been trained to render first aid and who is the current holder of appropriate first aid qualifications such as a certificate from the St. John's Ambulance or similar body shall be paid a weekly allowance of $11.50 if appointed by their employer to perform first aid duty.

  • First Aid Training In the interests of the occupational safety and health of employees, the Employer will undertake an in-service program of first aid training aimed at providing a first aid officer for each department.

  • First Aid Expenses We will pay expenses for first aid to others in- curred by an "insured" for "bodily injury" covered under this policy. We will not pay for first aid to an "insured".

  • First Aid Attendant Employees who take time off at the direction of the Employer to take a recognized Industrial First Aid Program shall not suffer a loss of regular pay.

  • First Aid Premium First Aid Premiums shall apply when an employee is assigned by the Employer to be a First Aid Attendant on a job site and shall be paid as follows: Level II - $1.00 per hour. Level III - $2.00 per hour.

  • First Aid Attendants a) Designated First Aid Attendants shall receive their job rate of pay plus the Ticket Premium rate. All other employees holding valid First Aid Tickets shall receive a premium of five cents (5¢) per hour over and above their job rate. There shall be no stacking or pyramiding of premiums.

  • SHIPPING AND AIR TRANSPORT 1. Profits of an enterprise of a Contracting State from the operation of ships or aircraft in international traffic shall be taxable only in that State.

  • Basic Equipment Warranty The Contractor warrants that all equipment rented or supplied under this Agreement shall be in good working order and shall conform to the needs specified by the Judicial Council. The Contractor shall immediately replace any inoperative equipment with operative equipment, or make all adjustments, repairs, and parts replacements required to maintain the equipment rented or supplied hereunder in working condition.
