Common use of Base Pay Clause in Contracts

Base Pay. For employees on a years’ of experience scale, base pay is the employee’s pay rate exclusive of any differentials, premiums, bonuses or other additional forms of compensation. For staff nurses on Scale A and APNs, base rate of pay is equivalent to their current pay rate on their scales, exclusive of any differentials, premiums, bonuses or other additional forms of compensation.
