Common use of Bargaining Agent Recognition Clause in Contracts

Bargaining Agent Recognition. The Employer recognizes the Union as the exclusive Bargaining Agent of the employees in the Office & Clerical Bargaining Unit; as follows: All regular and temporary full-time and part-time and casual employees of South Shore District Health Authority but excluding employees in other bargaining units and those persons described in paragraphs (a) and (b) of subsection 2 of the Trade Union Act.

No Discrimination for Union Activity The Employer agrees that there will be no discrimination, interference, restriction, or coercion exercised or practiced with respect to any employee for reason of membership or legal activity in the Union.
