Banking of General Holidays. Employees shall have the option of banking up to five (5) general holidays as follows: When an employee works a general holiday, they shall have the option of being paid general holiday pay or taking equivalent time off. Should an employee choose to take equivalent time off it must be taken by March 31st or be paid out to the employee at that time. Days taken as equivalent time off shall be by mutual agreement between the Employer and employee.

Banking of General Holidays. It is understood and agreed that all employees may take the following choices regarding saving general holidays, which are:

Should an employee choose to take equivalent time off it will be scheduled within ninety (90) days of the actual general holiday or taken with the employee's next annual vacation. Days taken as equivalent time off shall be by mutual agreement between the Employer and employee or they may bank the pay (one and one-half (1½) times their regular rate of pay for all time worked) referred to in 21.04 in accordance with banked overtime rules outlined in 20.02.

  • Federal Holidays The Employee shall be entitled to federal holidays per calendar year. This is subject to change by the Employer from time to time. If for any reason the Employee should request a Federal Holiday off, the Employer shall determine if the Employee may do so and if it shall be taken from either the Employee’s Personal Leave or Vacation Time. Federal Holidays are determined by the Employer and may change every calendar year.

  • Banking of RDOs (a) Where the Employer and an Employee agree up to five RDOs may be accrued for the purpose of creating a bank to be drawn upon by the Employee at times mutually agreed. Details of such banked RDOs will be entered on to each Employee’s employment records.

  • Additional Holidays Every day appointed by the president or Governor of this state for a public feast, Thanksgiving, or holiday, or any day declared a holiday for unit members by the Governing Board shall be a paid holiday for all employees in the bargaining unit.

  • Holidays on Saturday or Sunday When a holiday falls on a Saturday, the preceding workday not a holiday shall be deemed to be that holiday. When a holiday falls on Sunday, the following workday not a holiday shall be deemed to be that holiday.

  • Legal Holidays In any case where the date on which any payment is due shall not be a Business Day, then (notwithstanding any other provision of the Notes or this Indenture) payment need not be made on such date, but may be made on the next succeeding Business Day with the same force and effect as if made on the date on which nominally due, and no interest shall accrue for the period from and after any such nominal date.

  • Personal Holidays An employee may choose one (1) workday as a personal holiday during each calendar year if the employee has been continuously employed by the State of Washington for more than four (4) months.

  • Holidays Falling on Saturday or Sunday (a) For an employee whose workweek is from Monday to Friday and when any of the above-noted holidays fall on a Saturday and is not proclaimed as observed on some other day, the following Monday shall be deemed to be the holiday for the purpose of this agreement; and when a holiday falls on a Sunday and it is not proclaimed as being observed on some other day, the following Monday (or Tuesday, where the preceding section already applies to the Monday), shall be deemed to be the holiday for the purpose of this agreement.
