Common use of Baggage and Cargo Clause in Contracts

Baggage and Cargo. For transportation of checked baggage and cargo, THE CARRIER’s liability shall be limited to the sum of 17 Special Drawing Rights per kilo, unless a special declaration of value has been made by the sender at the time cargo is delivered to THE CARRIER and by paying a supplementary fee, if applicable. With respect to items under the Passenger’s custody, THE CARRIER’s liability shall be limited to the sum of 332 Special Drawing Rights per Passenger.
