Authorized Travel. Any employee who travels under Board authorization shall have prior approval of the Superintendent or his/her designee and be subject to Florida Statutes and policies of the Board.

Authorized Travel. Any unit member required to perform duties requiring travel shall be reimbursed for necessary and reasonable expenses to the extent authorized by, and subject to, the requirements of current county office rates and regulations, as they may be modified by the Office of Education from time to time.
Authorized Travel. Training and Conference Attendance Food, lodging and travel expenses, or any of them, shall be paid by the County according to a approved per diem schedule and receipt of the properly detailed County expense form, to any employee required to attend a conference or business meeting, when said conference or business meeting is held at a location other than the employee’s regular home and job locations. (3) If an hourly rate is stipulated in the agreement, authorized travel time for which Contractor will be paid is defined as follows: (i) When scheduled airline transportation is available, whether or not it is utilized. Payment will be based on scheduled air travel time by most direct route between airport at point of origin and airport at destination where service will be performed, and return; time to be calculated upward to the nearest half hour. In addition, actual time for travel to and from the airports, calculated upward to the nearest half hour, may be added not to exceed four (4) hours for the entire round trip. (ii) When scheduled airline transportation is not available. One (1) hour of time will be allowed for each forty (40) miles of distance traveled between points where air travel is not regularly scheduled, not to exceed actual time en route. (iii) Delay en route. Delay en route, for any reason, will not be considered in computing payment for travel time. CO07 - CONFLICTS OF INTEREST Contractor certifies that neither Contractor nor any principal member of Contractor is a government official, an official of a political party, a candidate for political office; an officer, director, employee or affiliate of any customer or potential customer of Sandia; and that Contractor nor any principal member of Contractor has been convicted of or pleaded guilty to any offense involving fraud, corruption or moral turpitude and is not currently listed by any government agency as debarred, suspended, proposed for suspension or debarment or otherwise ineligible for government procurement programs. CO08 - DEFINITIONS The following terms shall have the meanings set forth below for all purposes of this agreement.

Authorized Travel. The School Board grants Xxxxx X. Xxxxxx release time from duties as Principal to travel and attend to NAESP business for the term of the Agreement. School Board will not be responsible for any travel expenses or costs associated with travel related to NAESP business or duties.
