Common use of Authorization and Consent Clause in Contracts

Authorization and Consent. By using the UPS My Choice® Personal and Commercial Services to order MC Logistics Services, You represent and warrant that (i) You are (A) the shipper or (B) authorized by the shipper of a subject shipment to (I) alter the shipper’s delivery instructions, including to redirect the delivery of a shipment to an alternative address, to authorize release of a shipment, to delay delivery, to change a service or service level selected by the shipper, or to reschedule delivery, and (II) receive advance notification and delivery information regarding a shipment, and (ii) You have obtained all other authorizations, permissions and consents necessary to order, utilize or receive the benefit of the MC Logistics Services.
