Authority and Allowance. The City Manager shall govern the use of City-owned automotive equipment and privately- owned automotive equipment by such rules and regulations as he or she may establish. Compensation shall be given in the form of a cash allowance equal to the amount established by the Internal Revenue Service for the use of privately-owned vehicles. This allowance shall apply only to the use of privately-owned vehicles used on City business which has been authorized in advance by the City Manager.

  • PAY AND ALLOWANCES 6.1. REGULAR RATE OF PAY: The regular rate of pay for each position in the bargaining unit shall be in accordance with the rates established for each class as provided for in Article 19.   • Aid Allowance An employee who has been appointed by the Employer and trained to render first aid and who is the current holder of appropriate first aid qualifications such as a certificate from the St. Xxxx's Ambulance or similar body shall be paid weekly an allowance as detailed in Appendix A. The Employer will always appoint the appropriate number of First Aid Officers as required by relevant legislation and Code of Practice.

  • Indemnity and Insurance 24.1 The Contractor shall indemnify the Authority against all claims, damages and any other liabilities which may arise as a result, directly of the performance or purported performance of this Contract, the aggregate liability not to exceed [£5.000.000], except to the extent that any injury, loss or damage is caused by the negligence, wilful misconduct or breach of the Contract by Authority Personnel

  • Salary and Allowances A Teacher on part-time assignment shall be paid according to the salary schedule and allowances in this Collective Agreement, pro-rated unless otherwise specified in this agreement.
