Audit Trails. GRANTEE shall maintain appropriate audit trails to provide accountability for all reporting measures and requests for reimbursement. Audit trails maintained by GRANTEE will, at a minimum, identify the supporting documentation prepared by GRANTEE to permit an audit of its systems. GRANTEE’s automated systems, if any, must provide the means whereby authorized personnel have the ability to audit and verify contractually required performances and to establish individual accountability for any action that can potentially cause access to, generation of, or modification of confidential information.
