Audit A. The Contractor shall ensure that the single audit reports meet OMB Circular A-133 requirements: 1. Performed timely – not less frequently than annually and a report submitted timely. The audit is required to be submitted within 30 days after receipt of the auditor’s report or nine months after the end of the audit period, whichever occurs first.‌ 2. Property procured – use procurement standards provided for in OMB Circular A-133 and provide maximum opportunities to small and minority audit firms.‌ 3. Performed in accordance with General Accepted Government Auditing Standards – shall be performed by an independent auditor and be organization-wide.‌ 4. All inclusive – includes an opinion (or disclaimer of opinion) of the financial statements; a report on internal control related to the financial statements and major programs; an opinion (or disclaimer of opinion) on compliance with laws, regulations, and the provisions of contracts or grant agreements; and the schedule of findings and questioned costs.‌ 5. Performed in accordance with provisions applicable to this program as identified in OMB Circular A-133 Compliance Supplement. B. The Contractor shall be required to include in its contract with the independent auditor that the auditor will comply with all applicable audit requirements/standards, the County shall have access to all audit reports and supporting work papers, and the County has the option to perform additional work, as needed. C. Unless prohibited by law, the cost of audits completed in accordance with provision of the Single Audit Act Amendments of 1996, are allowable charges to Federal Awards. The cost may be considered a direct cost or an allocated indirect cost, as determined in accordance with the provisions of applicable OMB cost principle circulars. D. The Contractor shall cooperate in any further audits which may be required by the County or State.

  • Audit and Records A. The Contractor (and Contractor’s suppliers, vendors, subcontractors, insurance agents and other agents) shall maintain and the OWNER shall have the right to examine books, records, documents, accounting procedures and practices and any other supporting evidence deemed necessary by the OWNER to substantiate compliance with the terms of this Contract, including, but not limited to, costs and charges of whatever nature related to, incurred, and/or anticipated to be incurred, in the performance of this Contract. Such right of examination shall include inspection at all reasonable times of the Contractor’s office or facilities or such parts thereof as may be engaged in the performance of this Contract, and reasonable access to and cooperation by all Contractor personnel who have worked on or have knowledge related to the performance of this Contract.

  • Audit Costs In the event of an audit exception or exceptions related to the services provided pursuant to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, the party responsible for not meeting the requirements set forth herein shall be responsible for the deficiency and for the cost of the audit. If the allowable expenditures cannot be determined because CONTRACTOR’s documentation is nonexistent or inadequate, according to generally accepted accounting practices, the questionable cost shall be disallowed by COUNTY.

  • Audit and Testing 4.1 The Contractor shall conduct tests of the processes and countermeasures contained in the Security Plan ("Security Tests") on an annual basis or as otherwise agreed by the Parties. The date, timing, content and conduct of such Security Tests shall be agreed in advance with the Authority.

  • Audit Results If an audit by a Party determines that an overpayment or an underpayment has occurred, a notice of such overpayment or underpayment shall be given to the other Party together with those records from the audit which support such determination.

  • Audit Findings Vendor shall implement any required safeguards as identified by Citizens or by any audit of Vendor’s privacy and security controls.

  • Audit Notwithstanding any other audit requirement, H-GAC reserves the right to conduct or cause to be conducted an independent audit of any transaction under this Agreement, such audit may be performed by the H-GAC local government audit staff, a certified public accountant firm, or other auditors designated by H-GAC and will be conducted in accordance with applicable professional standards and practices. The Contractor understands and agrees that the Contractor shall be liable to the H-GAC for any findings that result in monetary obligations to H-GAC.

  • Audit Authority The Section of Audit and Control of the Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic shall act as the Audit Authority. The Head of the Audit Authority is the Director General of the Section of Audit and Control. The Director General of the Section of Audit and Control is directly subordinated to the Minister of Finance. The Section of Audit and Control is independent and functionally separated from the Certifying Authority, other administrative units of the Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic, and other bodies involved in the implementation of the Financial Mechanism. The roles and responsibilities of the Audit Authority are stipulated in the Regulation, in particular Article

  • Audit and Inspection 9.1 The Recipient, without charge, will permit any officer or officers of the Commissioner, external auditing bodies (i.e. National Audit Office or Audit Commission) or their nominees, to visit its premises and/or inspect any of its activities and/or to examine and take copies of the Recipient’s books of account and such other documents or records as in such officers' view may relate to the use of Grant. In addition, examinations may be carried out into the economy, efficiency and effectiveness with which the Grant has been used. The Commissioner shall endeavour, but is not obliged, to provide due notice of his/her intent to conduct an audit.

  • Financial Management; Financial Reports; Audits 1. The Recipient shall ensure that a financial management system is maintained in accordance with the provisions of Section 2.07 of the Standard Conditions.
