Common use of Attendance at Conferences and Conventions Clause in Contracts

Attendance at Conferences and Conventions. 34.01 An employee shall have the opportunity, subject to operational requirements and budgetary constraints as determined by the Employer, to attend a reasonable number of conferences or conventions related to his field of specialization in order to benefit from an exchange of knowledge and experience with his professional colleagues. The Employer may grant leave with pay and reasonable expenses, including registration fees, to attend such gatherings.
