Attendance and Behaviour. The student promises to abide by the guidelines for students set out in the student information provided, including aspects of attendance, dress, conduct and the acceptable use of information technology. The student will complete all work to the best of his/her ability and, where appropriate, by the given deadlines. He/she will seek help from teachers, tutors or other members of staff when facing difficulty.

Attendance and Behaviour. The School attaches great importance to courtesy, integrity, manners and good discipline which are a part of the Shakhsiyah Islamiyah. The Pupil is expected to take a full part in the activities of the School, to attend punctually on each school day, to work hard, to be well behaved and to comply with the School Rules. It is a condition of remaining at the School that Parents and the Pupil accept the school regime, the stated standards regarding appearance and the requirements of school discipline that apply from time to time. Attendance and Behaviour. The hirer shall ensure that the number of persons using the premises does not exceed that for which the application was made and approved. The hirer shall be responsible for ensuring the preservation of good order for the full duration of the letting and until the premises are vacated. The hirer shall be liable for any damage caused by unruly or inappropriate behaviour.

  • Employee Orientation Each and every person working for a contractor, including sub- contractors, will be given an orientation to familiarize them with the site safety program. Unless otherwise specified, each sub-contractor is responsible for the orientation of their workers.

  • STATEWIDE ACHIEVEMENT TESTING When CONTRACTOR is an NPS, per implementation of Senate Bill 484, CONTRACTOR shall administer all Statewide assessments within the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (“CAASP”), Desired Results Developmental Profile (“DRDP”), California Alternative Assessment (“CAA”), achievement and abilities tests (using LEA-authorized assessment instruments), the Fitness Gram with the exception of the English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (“ELPAC”) to be completed by the LEA, and as appropriate to the student, and mandated by XXX xxxxxxxx to LEA and state and federal guidelines. CONTRACTOR is subject to the alternative accountability system developed pursuant to Education Code section 52052, in the same manner as public schools. Each LEA student placed with CONTRACTOR by the LEA shall be tested by qualified staff of CONTRACTOR in accordance with that accountability program. XXX shall provide test administration training to CONTRACTOR’S qualified staff. CONTRACTOR shall attend LEA test training and comply with completion of all coding requirements as required by XXX.

  • Training and Orientation (a) No employee shall be required to work on any job or operate any piece of equipment until he/she has received proper training and instruction.

  • Alcohol Testing Alcohol testing will be conducted by using an evidential breath testing device (EBT) approved by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Non-EBT devices may be used for initial screening tests. A screening test will be conducted first. If the result is an alcohol concentration level of less than 0.02, the test is considered a negative test. If the alcohol concentration level is 0.02 or more, a second confirmation test will be conducted. Levels of .04 or greater on the confirmation test will be considered positive.

  • Volunteer Firefighting Leave Leave without pay will be granted when an employee who is a volunteer firefighter is called to duty to respond to a fire, natural disaster or medical emergency.

  • Employee Workload ‌ The Employer shall ensure that an employee’s workload is not unsafe as a result of employee absence(s). Employees may refer safety related workload concerns to the Occupational Health and Safety Committee for investigation under Article 22.3 (Occupational Health and Safety Committee).

  • VOLUNTEERS AND STUDENT WORKERS The Employer will utilize volunteers and student workers only to the extent they supplement and do not supplant bargaining unit employees. Volunteers and student workers will not supervise bargaining unit employees.

  • Pregnancy Sick Leave Leave for illness of a Nurse arising out of or associated with a Nurse’s pregnancy prior to the commencement of, or the ending of, pregnancy leave granted in accordance with Article 13.00, may be granted sick leave in accordance with the provisions of the Collective Agreement.

  • IRO Independence and Objectivity The IRO must perform the Claims Review in a professionally independent and objective fashion, as defined in the most recent Government Auditing Standards issued by the United States Government Accountability Office.

  • Employability Executive acknowledges (i) that Executive has sufficient abilities and talents to be able to obtain, upon the termination of Executive’s employment, comparable employment from another business while fully honoring and complying with the above covenants concerning confidential information and contacts with the Company’s or any of its Affiliates’ customers or employees, and (ii) the importance to the Company and its Affiliates of the above covenants. Accordingly, for a period of one (1) year following the termination of Executive’s employment with the Company and upon the Company’s reasonable request of Executive, Executive shall advise the Company of the identity of Executive’s new employer and shall provide a general description, in reasonable detail, of Executive’s new duties and responsibilities sufficient to inform the Company of its need to request a court order to enforce the above covenants.
