Atmospheric conditions Sample Clauses

Atmospheric conditions. The wind conditions shall not interfere with wetting of the surface (wind- xxxxxxx are allowed). Both the wetted surface temperature and the ambient temperature shall be between 2 °C and 20 °C for snow tyres and 5 °C and 35 °C for normal tyres. The wetted surface temperature shall not vary during the test by more than 10 °C. The ambient temperature must remain close to the wetted surface temperature; the difference between the ambient and the wetted surface temperatures must be less than 10 °C.

Atmospheric conditions. 3.1. Wind Testing shall be limited to wind speeds averaging less than 3 m/s with peak speeds of less than 5 m/s. In addition, the vector component of the wind speed across the test road shall be less than 2 m/s. Wind velocity shall be measured 0.7 m above the road surface.
Atmospheric conditions. SCLP acknowledges that coverage and quality of Intrex Services can be affected by atmospheric, topographical and other conditions.
Atmospheric conditions. Due to the large surface area that trees present to wind, the pressure can exert significant forces on the tree. This can either be a hindrance to cutting a large tree down or it can be a resource, depending on the strength and direction of the wind.
Atmospheric conditions. 5.4.1. Air density The air density at the time of the test, calculated as set out below, shall not vary by more than 7.5 per cent from the air density in the reference conditions. The air density shall be calculated by the formula: d = d x HT x To
Atmospheric conditions. No work, surface preparation or paint application shall be performed unless all the following conditions are met:
Atmospheric conditions. 5.4.1. Air density The air density at the time of the test, calculated as set out below, shall not vary by more than 7.5 per cent from the air density in the reference conditions. The air density shall be calculated by the formula: where dr = air density in the test conditions; do = air density in the reference conditions; HT = pressure during the test; TT = absolute temperature during the test (K). Reference conditions Pressure: Ho = 1,000 mbar Temperature: To = 293/K (20ºC) In addition, the atmospheric pressure during the tests shall be not less than 910/mbar and the temperature shall be not less than 278 K (5ºC).
