Common use of Association Business Leave Clause in Contracts

Association Business Leave. 1. Each year the Association shall be allowed fifteen (15) days of paid leave to conduct Association business. For all additional days used, the Association will pay the substitute teacher salary in effect. The Association agrees that these Association days shall not be used to support strikes or attending conferences/meetings which are primarily bargaining oriented. The employee must notify his/her immediate supervisor five (5) days in advance of paid taking Association leave. Said leave to conduct Association business. For all additional days used, request shall be signed by the Association will pay the substitute teacher salary in effect. The Association agrees that these Association days shall not be used to support strikes or attending conferences/meetings which are primarily bargaining oriented.
