ASSIGNMENT OF OTHER DUTIES. This Article applies to faculty members who are normally teaching but are released from teaching for the purposes of performing other duties.
ASSIGNMENT OF OTHER DUTIES. (a) The College may allocate program/curriculum development projects or special projects to faculty and on such occasions shall provide adequate time to accomplish the agreed-upon task.
ASSIGNMENT OF OTHER DUTIES. The Employer may, in an emergency, temporarily assign an employee covered by this Agreement to other duties. Such an assignment shall in no way interfere with the Union's right to represent the employee and in no case shall the employee's wage be reduced during such temporary assignment. The Union shall be notified of any such temporary assignment.
ASSIGNMENT OF OTHER DUTIES. The College requires that curriculum be developed for new or existing programs. The College may assign such curriculum or program development projects or other special projects to faculty and on such occasions the College shall provide time to accomplish the agreed upon task, adequate time to be agreed upon by the faculty member and the College in consultation with the coordinator or supervisor concerned.
ASSIGNMENT OF OTHER DUTIES. The Superintendent shall not be assigned to any other position or have his duties assigned to others without the Superintendent’s consent. No policy or bylaw of the District shall diminish the Superintendent’s statutory or contractual authority. All duties assigned to the Superintendent by the Board shall be appropriate to and consistent with the professional role and responsibility of the Superintendent. The Superintendent shall be provided such facilities, equipment, supplies, and clerical assistance as appropriate to the Superintendent’s position and necessary for the adequate performance of his duties.

  • Higher Duties 27.1 Where an Employee on any one day performs two or more classes of work to which different rates of pay are applicable, the Employer shall pay to the Employee the higher hourly rate for the entire day if the Employee is required to work in that class of work for more than 2 hours, and if for less than 2 hours during any one day the Employee will be paid the higher rate for the time so worked.
