Assigned Supervision. The Principal may assign each Teacher not more than one-half (1/2) class period per day for one (1) semester in any school year to supervision of non-classroom areas within the building: foyers, hallways, commons, and study halls Assignments shall be rotated on a regular basis to insure equitability. Teachers assigned to student supervision in the commons area or study halls under this Article will serve as secondary supervisors with primary supervision being provided as defined in Article VI, Section J of this Article. The Principal shall notify each Teacher of the specific assignment area and duties in writing prior to the implementation of the assigned supervision program.
