Assessment of Students. The employee shall maintain the responsibility to assess student progress and development. When an employee’s assessment is challenged by a parent or student, the student and/or parent shall first present their request for a grade change to the employee with supporting information and rationale. If the employee does not agree to change the grade, no grade or evaluation given by an employee shall be changed without the approval of the employee, unless the student, parent(s), or legal guardian(s) file an appeal with the principal.

Assessment of Students. All modules will be subject to assessment which will be completed by the end of the Semester in which the module is taught. Where modules from the LU SEFS Programme are incorporated in the Programme, the same assessments will normally be used for students studying at LC and LU. Progression requirements will indicate whether Students on the programme will be required to undertake a separate IELTS examination is necessary. Testing arrangements will be organised by LC. Students will be required to obtain credit in all modules in order to qualify for the award of the Certificate in International Foundation Studies. Requirements for progression to LU degree programmes may be higher. The procedures for handling late coursework submission, allegations of academic misconduct, impaired performance claims and student appeals against decisions of the Programme Board will be in line with those in operation for LU undergraduate students, except where otherwise agreed between the Parties, and shall be published by LC in advance for the information of all students registered on the Programme. There will be a Programme Board for each Pathway which shall exercise all relevant powers set out under LU Regulation XXII, Taught Programme Internal and External Examiners and Review and Programme Boards. The membership and quorum of each Programme Board are set out in Annex X. XX will appoint an External Programme Assessor for the Programme and External Examiners for specific modules or groups of modules in accordance with its standard procedures. The External Programme Assessor may also act as External Examiner for specific modules. The External Programme Assessor and External Examiners will be appointed by LU on terms and conditions applying at the time and will be remunerated by LU on the basis of its approved rates. LU will be responsible for the production and issue of academic transcripts and award certificates for the Programme. Any award ceremony for students successfully completing the Programme will be the responsibility of LC.

Eligibility and Placement Decisions regarding eligibility, goals/objectives, program placement/services and exit from special education shall be the decision of the IEP team. Team membership shall be in compliance with federal and state law and shall include the designated representative of the School (or designee). Services and placement shall be provided to all eligible students in accordance with the IDEIA, and the policies, procedures and requirements of the SELPA in which RCOE participates, and whenever possible should be provided at School.
Assessment of Students. The assessment of the pupil’s ability to benefit from participation in courses offered under the agreement shall be made by the Point Arena Unified School District high school principal or the principal’s designee. Only students whom are deemed, by the principal or the principal’s designee, to have the ability to benefit from participation in the CCAP courses will be eligible to enroll in courses authorized through the CCAP. Furthermore, Mendocino Lake Community College District reserves the right to require that students participating in the CCAP meet the course prerequisites or co-requisites, as described in the college catalog, for courses included in the CCAP.
Assessment of Students. The examination regulations and the assessment of the achieved learning outcomes should correspond with the intended learning outcomes. They should be applied consistently among partner institutions.
