ASSAULT UPON A TEACHER. Any case of assault upon a teacher in performance of his duties shall be promptly reported to the Board or its designated representative. The Board will provide legal counsel to advise the teacher of the teacher’s rights and obligations with respect to such assault, and shall render all reasonable assistance to the teacher in connection with handling of the incident by law enforcement and judicial authorities.

ASSAULT UPON A TEACHER. Any assault by a student on an employee or his/her personal belongings in connection with the employee’s employment shall be immediately reported to a principal or the Superintendent.
ASSAULT UPON A TEACHER. Any assault upon a teacher shall be reported by the principal to proper school and civil authorities. In the event a teacher requires legal counsel with respect to his/her rights and responsibilities incidental to an assault, said counsel shall be provided in cases of civil liability by the Board or its insurance carrier. Each classroom building will have a written procedure setting forth how teachers may obtain emergency assistance or report the presence of unauthorized individuals in the building. These procedures will be annually reviewed with the staff and they will be included in the Teachers' Manual issued in each building.

Principals shall report to the superintendent all cases of assault against a teacher during school hours or at school-related activities in which injuries have been suffered or in which there appears to have been intent to do harm. Such assaults against teachers shall be reported to the principal who shall ascertain the facts and then shall promptly report them to the Superintendent. In any such reported assault the teacher shall be provided advice and assistance from the school attorney relative to the filing and prosecution of a criminal complaint.

When requested by the Teacher, the District will advise the Teacher of his/her rights and obligations with respect to such assault.

  • Rights Upon Event of Default (a) As long as an Event of Default under this Agreement remains unremedied, Holders of not less than 50% of the outstanding Class Principal Balance of the Original Notes (in each case the outstanding Class Principal Balance of the Original Notes will be determined without regard to any exchanges of Class M Notes for MAC Notes) to which such Event of Default relates may, by written notice to Freddie Mac, declare such Notes due and payable and accelerate the maturity of such Notes. In the event that Class M Notes have been exchanged for MAC Notes, Holders of such MAC Notes will be entitled to exercise all the voting or direction rights that are allocated to such exchanged Class M Notes as described herein. Upon such acceleration, the Class Principal Balance of such Notes and the interest accrued thereon shall be due and payable.

  • Actions upon Termination In the event of termination not the fault of the Contractor, the Contractor shall be paid for the services properly performed prior to termination, together with any reimbursable expenses then due, but in no event shall such compensation exceed the maximum compensation to be paid under the Contract. The Contractor agrees that this payment shall fully and adequately compensate the Contractor and all subcontractors for all profits, costs, expenses, losses, liabilities, damages, taxes, and charges of any kind whatsoever (whether foreseen or unforeseen) attributable to the termination of this Contract. Upon termination for any reason, the Contractor shall provide Seattle with the most current design documents, contract documents, writings and other product it has completed to the date of termination, along with copies of all project-related correspondence and similar items. Seattle shall have the same rights to use these materials as if termination had not occurred.

  • Remedies Upon Event of Default If any Event of Default occurs and is continuing, the Administrative Agent shall, at the request of, or may, with the consent of, the Required Lenders, take any or all of the following actions:

  • Obligations Upon Termination Upon termination of this Agreement, either party shall, at the request of the other party, return any document, material, database, equipment, or software containing the Confidential Information to the other party. If, for any reason, such document, material, database, equipment, or software cannot be returned, either party shall destroy all the Confidential Information belonging to the other party and delete such Confidential Information from any memory devices. No party shall be permitted to continue using the Confidential Information in any way after the termination of this Agreement.

  • Rights Upon Termination Except as expressly provided in Section 6, upon the termination of the Executive’s Employment pursuant to this Section 5, the Executive shall only be entitled to the compensation, benefits and reimbursements described in Sections 2, 3 and 4 for the period preceding the effective date of the termination.
