ASE Certification. This incentive applies to employees assigned to the Division of Fleet Management Services and Central Maintenance of Xxxxxxxxxx County Fire and Rescue Services. Eligible employees would receive $100 for each valid ASE examination for which a passing score is received up to a maximum of 20 examinations. In addition, each employee who achieves active "MASTER" status would also receive a S 1,000 incentive up to a maximum of 2 Master Certifications. The maximum ASE-related incentive that any employee can receive in one year would be $4,000.00. Only active ASE certifications will receive this pay incentive.

ASE Certification. Metro will pay maintenance employees while working in a mechanical position in classifications A or B an additional twenty cents ($0.20) per hour for each Metro approved ASE transit certification obtained or ten cents ($0.10) per hour for each hour worked in a Spotter job. Mechanical position is defined to exclude Building Maintenance and Storeroom jobs. These payments will be added to the employee’s base pay. The certifications must be maintained to continue receiving the additional money. Metro will reimburse certification and testing costs upon successful completion by the employee. ASE certification shall not be a job requirement, and no employee shall be displaced nor their seniority infringed for having or not having an ASE certification.
ASE Certification. An Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification stipend shall be paid for the bus mechanic positions in the amount of $75.00 for each certificate earned in the six areas relevant to the bus mechanic positions and the preventative maintenance inspection test under Medium-Heavy Truck Certification; up to six (6) certificates ($75.00 for each one earned) and up to a maximum of $450.00 per year, upon completion of the certification. Said stipends shall be paid each year for the five (5) year period annually (November and May pay periods) following completion of the certificate. The District shall also pay for the registration fee and the first testing fee, whether said testing is performed either online or at a designated site.
ASE Certification. Automotive Technicians and Automotive Body Repair Technicians hired after the effective date the of this Agreement shall be certified as provided by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) within the first twelve (12) months of employment. The employee shall maintain certification throughout the duration of his/her employment. In the event an employee fails to maintain the certification, the employer shall pay for the employee to retake the test one (1) time. Any additional tests shall be at the expense of the employee.
ASE Certification. 1. The Board will pay for ASE certification(s) or recertification exam(s) if the exam(s) are approved by the Director of Transportation. Mechanics shall receive a one-time payment for ASE certification (up to a maximum of four (4) per year) at one hundred twenty-five dollars ($125) per initial ASE certification approved by the Director of Transportation. This certification payment applies only in the year the employee takes certification and does not carry over from year-to-year. Once an employee receives $125 for a specific certification, he/she cannot receive any subsequent payment for the same certification regardless of the circumstances. The Board will pay for the cost of the recertification exam fees.

ASE Certification. The company will pay for one preparation class per employee. The employee will be given two opportunities to certify. Certification tests are given in May and November of each year. The preparation class is a four-day class. The company pays for the testing up to two times and will give the employee company time to take the test.

ASE Certification. Mechanics who obtain and maintain all ASE certifications required in their job description, shall receive an additional $10.00 per pay period. Mechanics who obtain and maintain a Master ASE certificate shall receive an additional $15.00 per pay period.
ASE Certification. 6.7.1 Equipment Technicians in the Public Works Equipment Services Division and Fleet Rental who receive and maintain 100% of required certifications to achieve ASE Master Level Technician Certification from the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) shall be classified as Equipment Technician, ASE Master. Those employees who receive and maintain a minimum of 60% of ASE Master Level certifications will be classified as Equipment Technician ASE.
