Asbestos Management. The Tenant must inform the Parish Council of any suspected Asbestos found on any plots. The Parish Council will keep an Asbestos register. We will arrange for a qualified inspection to determine the type of asbestos. The results of this will determine how it is managed. If it is not damaged, not causing a hazard it can be left alone, but must not be disturbed, drilled or worked upon. A sticker will be placed near it to warn everyone of the dangers. The only asbestos that can be disposed of by Tenants (or non specialized contractors on behalf of the Tenant) is concrete asbestos. Asbestos Management. A. The District has surveyed its facilities for asbestos and the results have been placed in the “Asbestos Management Plan” for each facility. Each plan includes an operations and maintenance program. Management plans are available for Contractor’s review at the District’s Facilities Department during normal business hours. It is the Contractor’s responsibility to become familiar with the type and location of asbestos containing building materials in the facility by consulting the aforementioned Asbestos Management Plan and to survey the work area for potential asbestos containing materials before starting work. In performing the work, the Contractor will comply with procedures established in the operations and maintenance program and with Federal, State, and Local health and Safety Regulations.

Asbestos Management. In January 2013, the mandatory three-year inspection of the Walla Walla Public Schools facilities was successfully completed. This inspection is required by the Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response ACT (AHERA) of 1986. AHERA regulations also require that annual notification be given to teachers, workers, and the students’ parents/guardians to update them on the status of asbestos in their schools and of the availability of the management plans. Walla Walla Public Schools conducts six-month periodic surveillance inspections in January and July to check the condition of the asbestos-containing building materials and the records are kept at Plant Facilities. The inspection reports are included in the updated copies of the AHERA Management Plans that are located in the district plant facilities office and district schools. Asbestos Management. ENERGEX has developed an Asbestos Management Plan aimed at managing asbestos hazards in the workplace. The plan has been developed recognising the mandatory requirements set out under the Queensland Workplace Health and Safety Xxx 0000 and attendant Regulation. ENERGEX commits to an on-going obligation to provide a safe work environment by pursuing strategies to manage asbestos hazards identified in the workplace by documenting and implementing procedures designed to minimise the risk of exposure to asbestos in the workplace in accordance with the aforementioned legislative requirements.
Asbestos Management. The Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act of 1986 (AHERA) requires the inspection of all buildings in the school district for asbestos. Central Tech has complied with this act.
