ASBESTOS AWARENESS TRAINING. The Employer agrees to schedule an agreed asbestos awareness training course.

ASBESTOS AWARENESS TRAINING. The Employer agrees that it will, within three months of the commencement of this Agreement, schedule the nationally accredited asbestos awareness training course, for each Employee covered by this Agreement. Further, the Employer agrees that it will, within three months of each new Employee commencing employment, ensure that the Employee successfully completes the nationally accredited asbestos awareness training course mentioned in clause 18.7 above. The Employer will bear all costs associated with the provision of the training, including costs and material costs and the provision of the Employee's wages for the period of the training. The course referred to in clause 18.7 above will be 10279NAT Identification and Awareness of Asbestos Containing The Queensland Government Building and Construction Training Policy applies to all Projects, which amongst other requirements, provides a formula for a minimum allocation of employment of apprentices and trainees (new entrants only) and workforce training the Project.
ASBESTOS AWARENESS TRAINING. At the request of the OCO the Contractor shall ensure that all employees, including replacement workers, receive asbestos training and refresher training in accordance with CFR 40-763 xxxx://xxx.xxxxxx.xxx.xxx/nara/cfr/waisidz _06/40cfr763_06.html and 29 CFR 1910. The Contractor shall follow all instructions for each asbestos class job as outlined in 29 CFR 1910. The training shall be conducted, at no additional expense to the Government, at least 60 calendar days after the start date of the Contract. The Contractor shall submit written certification to the CO or their designee within 5 days of the completion of training.
ASBESTOS AWARENESS TRAINING. IAW 29 CFR 1910.1101, all personnel that may come into contact with asbestos while performing work duties must attend OSHA asbestos awareness training annually. This training is targeted for employees who may disturb asbestos containing materials while performing normal work duties. This includes all operations and maintenance employees (electrician, plumber, and HVAC system), and facility coordinators.

  • Security Awareness Training 1. The Contractor’s employees, Subcontractors/Vendors, and volunteers handling confidential, sensitive and/or personal identifying information must complete the required CDA Security Awareness Training module located at xxxxx://xxx.xxxxx.xx.xxx/ProgramsProviders/#Resources within thirty (30) days of the start date of the Contract/Agreement, within thirty (30) days of the start date of any new employee, Subcontractor, Vendor or volunteer’s employment and annually thereafter.

  • Cross Training (a) The parties recognize the importance of cross training to ensure that employees are properly trained for backup and for promotions. When the Employer identifies a cross training opportunity the Employer shall provide each regular employee written notification of the cross training opportunity in following with 6.02(a). The Employer undertakes to cross train employees on the basis of seniority and the ability to do the job within a reasonable period of time.

  • Safety Training Pursuant to Missouri Revised Statute Section 292.675, Contractors and subcontractors who sign a contract to work on public works projects must provide a 10-hour OSHA construction safety program, or similar program approved by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, to be completed by their on-site employees within sixty (60) days of beginning work on the construction project. Contractors and subcontractors in violation of this provision will forfeit to the public body $2,500 plus $100 a day for each employee who is employed without training. Public bodies and contractors may withhold/assess these penalties from the payment due to those contractors and subcontractors if found to be in non-compliance.

  • Industrial Relations Training Leave 53.1 Union Delegate/Employee Representative shall have access to industrial relations training in accordance with Appendix E hereof.

  • Security Awareness and Training We have implemented and maintain an information security and awareness program that is delivered to employees and appropriate contractors at the time of hire or contract commencement and annually thereafter. The awareness program is delivered electronically and includes a testing aspect with minimum requirements to pass. Additionally, development staff members are provided with secure code development training.

  • Field Training Officers The position of Field Training Officer (FTO) shall be held by a Trooper or Sergeant who most closely meets the requirements set forth by the Employer which are outlined in policy OSP-501.08. If the Employer determines there are an insufficient number of qualified volunteers, it may appoint other individuals to be FTOs. The District Commander shall make the final selections. A supplement of eight hundred dollars ($800.00) shall be given to all FTOs for the sixty (60) working day training period. This amount will be prorated in instances where the training period is cut short or lengthened. Field Training Officers and their trainees will be required to work twenty (20) days on each of the three shifts during the training period.

  • Drug-Free Awareness Program Establish, as required by California Government Code Section 8355(a)(2), a Drug-Free Awareness Program which informs employees about:

  • First Aid Training In the interests of the occupational safety and health of employees, the Employer will undertake an in-service program of first aid training aimed at providing a first aid officer for each department.

  • Covered Persons Training All Covered Persons shall receive at least three hours of training during the first Reporting Period. Training may be completed in-person or online. These training requirements may be satisfied only by the completion of training courses that are submitted to OIG, prior to registration for the training course, for review and approval. At a minimum, the required training sessions must include the following topics:

  • Health and Safety Training Regular employees and auxiliary employees in posted positions shall participate in a Health and Safety Training session once in a calendar year. The training program offered by the Employer must be approved by the joint Health and Safety Committee prior to such training commencing. Training will be provided during normal work hours and employees shall suffer no loss of pay or benefits.
