ARTICLE SCOPE. This Agreement shall cover rates of pay, hours of service and working conditions governing the employment by the Company of employees in the bargaining unit. New classifications and wage scales may be added to the bargaining unit from time to time when mutually agreed upon by the Company and the Union.

ARTICLE SCOPE. This Agreement shall apply only to part-time members employed by the Toronto Police Force as hereinafter defined.
ARTICLE SCOPE. The Board recognizes the Canadian Union of Public Employees and its Local as the sole and exclusive bargainingagent authorized to represent all employees of the Greater Essex County District School Board (the “Board”) employed in custodial, building maintenance, preventive maintenance, and any new or former bargaining unit position, save and except supervisor, person above the rank of supervisor and employees employed by the Board in other bargaining units. For the purpose of clarity, employees employed by the Board in other bargaining units currently include, but are not limited to; employees employed as an electrician, xxxxxxxxx, plumber and/or painter, bricklayer and labourer. ARTICLE SCOPE. The scope of this Agreement shall apply to those employees who are regularly employed for hours or more on a basis in the job classifications in Schedule A, forming part of this Agreement or those classifications established during the lifetime of this Agreement which by their nature should be added to Schedule "A", save and except manager and supervisor, persons above the rank of supervisor, graduate \ and student dietitian, chef and office staff. The Company agrees that supervisors shall not normally perform work assigned to employees in the bargaining unit except for the purpose of training, instructing, experimenting, safety, and in emergencies. No employee shall be laid off as a result of a supervisor performing such work.
ARTICLE SCOPE. Areas This Agreement shall apply to all persons supplied by the Union to work as Wardrobe Attendants and Wardrobe Mistresses for performances in Hall, the Theatre and the Studio. Other Areas This agreement shall also apply to all persons supplied by the Union to work as Wardrobe Attendants and Wardrobe Mistresses for performances in "Other Areas". For the purposes of this agreement "Other Areas" shall mean Rehearsal Halls A and the Salon, the Foyer Plaza, the Terraces, the Hall entrances, Le Cafe, the Le Cafe the Fourth Stage, the Panorama Room, and the Fountain Room of the National Arts Centre. In the event that the Centre engages in work not covered by Article Xxxxx, the Centre agrees to meet with the Union and discuss in good faith the possibility of such work being performed by Union members.

The Employer recognizes the Union as the sole and exclusive Bargaining Agent for all of its Employees save and except Professional Health Staff, Charge Nurses, Assistant Department Heads, Teachers, and Day Aides, Registered and Graduate Nurses, Office Staff, Volunteer Fundraising Facilitator, Quality Assurance Co-ordinator, Students hired during the school vacation periods and included and excluded under a subsisting Collective Agreement between The Regional Municipality of and the various Locals of the Canadian Union of Public Employees.

Further for the .purposes of clarity, the term 'paramedical' includes, occupational therapists, speech therapists, speech pathologists, physiotherapists, therapeutic and administrative dieticians, technologists, radiological technologists (radiography), radiological technologists (nuclear medicine), registered and EEG, ECG and ophthalmology technicians, registered and non- registered ultrasound technologists, glaucoma technicians, ear, nose and throat technicians, cardiovascular technicians, electrical shock therapists, laboratory technicians, laboratory assistants, electronic technicians, psychologists, psychometrist, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, remedial gymnasts, medical records librarian, social workers, child care workers, nutritionists, dental health educators, bio- medical technicians, senior and charge technologist positions. The Employer agrees to notify the Unit Xxxxxxx of the name and address of any new employee within the bargaining unit. The Union recognizes that the management of the Hospital and the direction of the working force are fixed exclusively in the Employer and shall remain solely with the Employer except as specifically limited by the express provisions of this Agreement.
