ARTICLE RECOGNITION. The Board and the Union agree that the employees in the bargaining unit described in Article will be divided into three (3) separate and distinct Jurisdictional Groups as follows:
ARTICLE RECOGNITION. The Employer recognizes the Union as the sole bargaining agent of all employees of the respondent, save and except supervisors, persons above the rank of supervisor, office and clerical employees and students employed during the school vacation period. The Employer agrees to notify the Union, in within three (3) weeks, of the name of any new employee within the bargaining unit as well as the classification and work location for which they have been hired.
ARTICLE RECOGNITION. The Employer recognizes the Union as the bargaining agent of all employees of Mid-Westem Ontario and Travel Agency (Mid-Western Ontario) in the Counties of Wellington, Oxford and Middlesex, and the Regional Municipality of Waterloo, save and except Managers, Supervisors and Co- ordinators, persons above the rank of Manager, Supervisor and Co-ordinator, Executive Assistant, Assistant to the Director of Operations, Assistant to the Controller, Human Resources Assistant, Management Information Systems Analysts, maintenance person and groundskeeper. The Union advises that the administration of the collective agreement will be by and through the offices of Teamsters Local Union No. and Teamsters, Chauffeurs, and Helpers Local Union No.
ARTICLE RECOGNITION. The Region recognizes the Canadian Union of Public Employees and its Local as the sole and exclusive bargaining agent of all its employees as defined in the Ontario Labour Relations Board's declaration issued and dated October namely, all employees of the Regional Municipality of Durham in its Works Department save and except foremen and persons above the rank of xxxxxxx, office, clerical and technical staff, persons regularly employed for not more than twenty-four (24) hours per week. The parties agree that the classification of Waste Disposal Clerk shall be included in the above bargaining unit. Whenever the masculine pronoun is used in this Agreement, it includes the feminine pronoun, where the content so requires and vice-versa. Where the singular is used, it may also be deemed to mean the plural and vice versa.
ARTICLE RECOGNITION. The Board recognizes the Ontario Secondary School Teachers' Federation as the exclusive bargaining agent authorized to negotiate on behalf of all Educational Assistants (including Special Educational Assistant Support, Technology Facilitator and Outdoor Education Specialist) employed by the Bluewater District School Board, save and except supervisors, persons above the rank of supervisor, students employed during the school vacation period and co-operative education students as recognized by the Ontario Labour Relations Board decision of July The Board recognizes the negotiating team of the Educational Assistants Bargaining Unit as the group authorized to negotiate on behalf of the Union. The recognizes the Negotiating Committee of the Board as the official committee to negotiate on behalf of Bluewater District School Board. The Board agrees to conduct business affecting the Bargaining Unit only with representatives authorized by the Bargaining Unit. In order that this may be carried out, the Bargaining Unit will supply the Board with the names of its officers. Similarly, the Board will supply the Bargaining Unit with a list of its supervisory or other personnel with whom the Bargaining Unit may be required to transact business. The Board recognizes the right of the Bargaining Unit to authorize or any other advisor, agent, counsel, solicitor or duly authorized representativeto assist, advise or represent it in all matters pertaining to the negotiation and administration of this Collective Agreement.
ARTICLE RECOGNITION. The Employer recognizes the Union as the exclusive bargaining agent for ail employees of the Corporation of the City of Cambridge employed in the Waste Water Division, Water Division, Roads Division, Traffic Division, Mechanic Division, Animal Control Officers, Forestry, Horticulture Equipment Division, Arenas Division, Pools Division, Cemeteries Division, Parks Division, as well as Maintenance Students, save and except Recreation Programme Supervisors, Car Counters, Immediate Supervisors, persons above that rank, clerical and technical employees and canteen employees who work less than twenty-four (24) hours per week.
