Arbitration Hearing and Location. If the Dispute is for $10,000 or less, you may choose whether to conduct the arbitration solely on the basis of documents submitted to the arbitrator, through a telephonic hearing, or by an in-person hearing as established by the AAA Rules. If the Dispute exceeds $10,000, the AAA Rules will determine the right to a hearing. Any in-person hearing will take place at a location convenient to you in the area where you receive the Services from the Company, unless you and the Company agree or the arbitrator orders otherwise under the AAA Rules.

If the Dispute exceeds $50,000, the Arbitrator Rules will determine the right to a hearing. Any in-person hearing will take place at a location convenient to you within a reasonable distance of the area where you receive the Services from HTC.

  • Arbitration Hearing An Arbitration Hearing will be held within thirty (30) days after the Administrative Conference if no discovery is taken, or within thirty (30) days after the close of discovery, unless all parties and the Panel agree to extend the Arbitration Hearing date, or unless the parties agree in writing to waive the Arbitration Hearing. The parties may mutually agree on the location of the Arbitration Hearing. If the parties fail to agree, the Arbitration Hearing shall be held in Chicago, Illinois, or at such other location determined by the Presiding Arbitrator to be most convenient to the participants. The Panel will determine the date(s) and time(s) of the Arbitration Hearing(s) after consultation with all parties and shall provide reasonable notice thereof to all parties or their representatives.

  • Arbitration Board Hearings Where operational requirements permit, the Employer shall grant leave without loss of pay to a reasonable number of employees representing the Union before an Arbitration Board, provided the dispute involves the Employer.

  • Hearing Aids Any active employee who is insured under any one of the 9 District sponsored medical plans may request reimbursement for the costs of 10 hearing aids. The maximum amount of reimbursement shall not exceed one 11 thousand dollars ($1,000) within any three (3) year period. The cost of 12 hardware, fitting tests, and other tests related to the hearing aids purchased 13 shall be included for reimbursement purposes. 14

  • Step Four - Arbitration 15.6.1. If a grievance is not resolved at Step Three, the Association may request a hearing before an arbitrator. The request shall be filed in the Human Resource Services Division or designee within fifteen (15) workdays after the written decision of the division representative becomes effective.

The first strike for arbitrators will be rotated between CRONA and the Employer.
