Approved Leave of Absence With Pay. When an employee is hospitalized or under a physician's care and in receipt of the Short-Term Illness and Injury Plan benefits or on leave with pay in accordance with Clauses 20.1, 20.5, 20.7 and 20.8 during their vacation period, there shall be no deduction from the vacation credits for such leave. The period of vacation so displaced shall be taken at a mutually agreed time. An employee intending to claim displaced vacation leave must advise the Employer and provide necessary documentation within seven days of returning to work.
