APPROVAL OF CONTRACT. Upon receipt of evidence of adequate insurance coverage, the contract and contract bond or bonds that have been executed by the successful bidder, the Owner shall complete the execution of the contract in accordance with local laws or ordinances, and return the fully executed contract to the Contractor. Delivery of the fully executed contract to the Contractor shall constitute the Owner's approval to be bound by the successful bidder's proposal and the terms of the contract.
APPROVAL OF CONTRACT. This Contract, amendments, or modifications thereof shall not be effective until approved by Department of General Services and the Attorney General of the State of California.

It is agreed by and between the parties that any provisions of this Agreement which require an expenditure of funds for their implementation shall not become effective until and unless such provisions have been approved by the PEF Executive Board as required by the PEF Constitution and Bylaws. It is further agreed by and between the parties that the provisions of this Agreement will become effective only if the members of USW ratify this Agreement. All provisions of this Agreement, except those with specific dates stating otherwise, shall be effective upon ratification by both parties.
