APPRENTICE PAY. Apprentices shall be paid not more than the following percentages of the total gross wages of a Journeyman as follows: FINISHER APPRENTICE WAGE SCALE‌ 1st year 1st 6 months 60% 2nd 6 months 70% 2nd year 3rd 6 months 75% 4th 6 months 80% 3rd year 5th 6 months 85% 6th 6 months 90% After the first 30 days the (journeyman's) Health and Welfare contribution will be paid on the apprentice's behalf, with dues checkoff during this period. At the end of this first 6th month period the Apprenticeship Fund, International Masonry Institute Fund, and Local Pension shall be paid on the apprentice, in addition to the Industrial Promotion (CISP) and the International Pension if applicable. In the first 2 years of apprenticeship the apprentice is not covered on the Vacation Plan, and no deductions shall be made for same.

  • Apprentice Wages (a) Apprentices’ rates of pay are set out in Appendix B which includes the description of the calculations.

  • APPRENTICES 6.36.1 The Contractor acknowledges and agrees that, if this Contract involves a dollar amount greater than or a number of working days greater than that specified in Labor Code Section 1777.5, this Contract is governed by the provisions of Labor Code Section 1777.5.   • Adult Apprentices People who are 21 years of age or over at the time of entering into an apprenticeship with the Employer will be paid as per the wage rates set out in the appropriate Appendix to this Agreement. Where special or unusual circumstances occur or apply and where the parties to this Agreement and the adult apprentice agree in writing, the adult apprentice may be paid at a lesser rate, provided that the lesser rate will not be less than the rate for a junior apprentice set out in the appropriate Appendix to this Agreement.

  • Apprentice Ratio 25.9 The Employer recognises that in order to increase the efficiency and productivity of the Employer, a significant commitment to structured training and skill development is required. They also recognise the importance of the apprenticeship system to the construction industry. Therefore, the Parties agree:
