Appointment Year. The Appointment Year refers to the time period each Resident Physician spends at each postgraduate level as defined by the Faculty Letter of Engagement (see Article 6.01). The Appointment Year may have different start and end dates from the Academic Year.

Appointment Year. The normal appointment year for administrative positions is twelve months; the employment year beginning September 1 of each year. An appointment for less than twelve months shall be prorated for salary, vacation and other benefits based on employee's annual salary.
Appointment Year. Unless otherwise noted, an appointment year is MSUAASF service during a period starting from July 1 through June 30 annually that is at least one-half time (.5 FTE) for nine (9) to twelve (12) months.

  • Initial Appointment Upon initial appointment, a bargaining unit employee shall be issued a letter of offer, signed by the xxxx/director, citing specific terms and conditions of employment and his or her initial assignment of responsibilities. The University may enclose informational addenda, except that such addenda may not abridge the employee's rights or benefits provided in the BOT-UFF Agreement or BOT- UFF Policies. All academic year appointments for employees at a University shall begin on the same date. Two weeks prior to the beginning of classes each semester, the University shall send to the UFF Chapter a list of bargaining unit employees hired since the beginning of the previous semester, showing name; rank or title; department, college, program or employment unit; salary; and principal place of employment (campus). The initial letter of offer shall contain the following elements:

  • Regular Appointment The authorized appointment of an individual to a position covered by Civil Service.

If no one is available, the Service tech will attempt to contact Customer for minimum of an additional fifteen (15) minutes before re-scheduling the appointment. Re-scheduling such missed appointment will incur a Missed Appointment Fee at the current applicable rate. 48 hour notice is required for all appointment re- scheduling.
